Location is out-of-this-world - ski to door on the pist! Fabulous owner who really cares for his guests ❤️ your comfort and experience of utmost priority. We were very impressed by the wine selection and digestif wagon 👌 a very nice touch, particularly the great descriptions and stories Christoph could relay for each acquisition. The food was great too - amazing chef who we also had the.pleasure of him joining us for a drink (or 2). We will be back to experience this Gem every season of the year.

Stunning location, ski in-ski out directly on a blue piste. Extremely welcoming staff, attention to detail that make a comfortable and homely stay - good quality duvets and comfy mattresses, games for kids/adults, complimentary tea/juice in the rooms, flexible check out. The chef is excellent, we stayed 3 nights and ate there every evening with great veggie options and good beer! Important to communicate in advance regarding arrival logistics.

The distance from downtown Murren.

Christoph and his team made us feel like family. The chef made excellent dinners each night. Also, the view from the hotel (and our room) was SPECTACULAR! A hiker's paradise! Christoph worked with us on early an earlier than expected departure, due to illness.

Fantastic views, fantastic staff, went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Sara was a gem. She picked us up from the cable car, and I really didn't think the car would make it up to the mountain with us all on board, but she drove like a pro. I can't give any more praise for the place. The hotel is located outside the town, it is quite and a perfect place to go for a walk after dinner and gaze at the stars. The restaurant was also great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and we chose this location for a comfortable start to hike Schilthorn. It was a perfect weekend.

Nothing could have been improved.

We had a memorable stay and will return for sure. It is quintessential rural Switzerland at its finest-- with the gentle sound of cowbells ringing through the valley. Note that if you have roller bag, you really need to use their transport service, and the road getting up is quite steep -- but it is totally worth it. Oliver and Sarah made our stay extra special. We enjoyed the beautiful views out our window, the snacks and juices in the room and the fantastic breakfast. We also were wowed by Oliver's cooking and thoroughly enjoyed dinner at the Hotel on both nights of our stay. With so many hiking trails right outside the door, we would have loved to stay for weeks!

We received friendly welcome upon our arrival. Rooms were clean and one of them had an amazing view of the mountains. Also surrounding is calming, all green. We stayed for the dinner which was also delicious served with the local beer. The menu is broad and there was also a vegetarian option. Breakfast was simple, sufficient and fresh. All was good.

The accommodation can be hard to get to with suitcases, I believe there is a guy in town who helps transport them up for you which is what I would recommend.

The views were amazing, the food was also amazing with the chef cooking amazing meals every night! The staff were all so friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was really lacking and was 22 Swiss francs a day! Management was a bit disorganized and didn’t have access to booking.com payment. Hotel aspect seemed to be an afterthought. The place definitely catered to the locals.

The ski-in ski-out aspect was amazing!

Very disappointing. We booked a room at 10am (the same day as we should have checked in) and didn’t see any message about using a train and a cable cart and then walk to be able to reach the hotel. Since we travelled with our 5 month old son. It’s not recommended to sleep or go to high altitude with him. We found it out when we put the address to the navigation and then called the hotel. We explained our situation and kindly asked for a refund since we were afraid of taking our son to such altitude. We were told that they will think about it but unfortunately in a few days they charged us the full amount.
