Very nicely designed kitchen. All things for cooking you need are available. Very cozy and comfortable rooms. Conveniently located opposite Engelberg station. We liked it and highly recommended.

The key app sometimes took a little while (2-3 minutes) to open up, but cannot complain about it. There are always someone around to help out if you have technical difficulties with the app or with hostel facilities.

The hostel is family friendly. Little kids have space to relax and enjoy their stay as well. The kitchen made it more comfortable for families traveling with children. Location is great, just next to the train station, but it was quiet enough in the room, not to hear any traffic at night. The staff are friendly and responsive to requests and questions.

Very clean, perfect location, nicely organized, friendly staff, well equipped kitchens. A few free parking spaces on-site (first come first served). Everything from registration to opening doors works with an app, which is pretty easy but feels a little complicated sometimes.

GRAND is an excellent family-friendly place to stay at a very good price (compared to the rest of the village). Lots of space in the common kitchens and fully equipped to cook pretty much anything (not only prepare snacks). Location is excellent, right at the city center and 5mins away from the ski lift (if you wanted to walk). The rooms are spacious, very clean and very warm. The staff is very friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. The application is very nicely made and super handy. Will definitely choose to stay again if visiting the area.

Pretty flawless for what we needed.

The location. Ease of access and security. The common kitchen/dining concept is lovely and works great. It was nice to have a space other than our room to sit and unwind. The bar was great for happy hour and live music.

Exceptional stay at Grand again. It was our third time and I can't think of a reason not to go again and again. :) Great facilities, spacious, clean and bright room and very helpful and friendly staff!

The downstairs kitchen area would have benefited from softer lighting for the evening so that it felt a bit more cosy. A few more hangers on the rail in the bedroom would have been handy.

Fabulous location next to bus stop, train station and central for shops and supermarkets. We enjoyed the communal feel of the kitchen areas. Our room and beds were very comfortable. Nice bar that you could relax in if you fancied a drink.

Giving much information about every one in the group in an app, before each groupmember could have a key, was not in every groupmembers interest.

Easy access to trainstation and skiarea, really nice room (pathfinder) for our group of six ppl., Well equippet kitchen, cosy place over all.

Everything was great.

we loved our stay at this place the bus to the ski lift goes every 15 min in front the hotel. The kitchen is very modern and cozy equipped with everything you might need. Everything is managed through an app but there is always very friendly staff near by in case you need anything

room was a bit noise from the bar below. The bathroom was soooo cold, shower was ok, but toilet room too cold.

Room was new, well furnished. Overall comfortable and with a great view of the mountain. Kitchens were cute, furnished and a nice place to see other guests. We ordered the breakfast from the app and all was really good.

- Super location in front of Engelberg train station. - Very modern facilities, super clean, very friendly and helpful staff. - Common kitchen was perfect, big and you could even order breakfast for the following day. - If you go with your family I think it’s very good value for money, there are board games available and the rooms are big enough to be confortable. - There is also a very cosy bar to have drinks. - Highly recommendable.

Ethical Discrimation faced from only ONE of the staff members.

Very thankful that such properties exist, where we can cook, connect, relax and spend some time with our friends and family. Perfect Room, perfect kitchen, close proximity to main station and city centre. All the staff members(except one) are so kind, friendly and helpful. Appreciate the easy use of phone to unlock everything from the front door till your own refrigerator in the Community Kitchen (sometimes u need to restart the app but that’s ok.) There is a very small elevator to carry either one stroller or a couple of big bags.
