I honestly cannot think of anything I did not like!

Everything!! This place is exceptional and so charming, we loved our cozy room with a balcony facing the town! Super friendly and helpful staff (shoutout to Alexander), restaurant was expensive but worth it! We only ate one dinner here and reservations are a good idea. Ski rental across the street and bus stop a block away or 2 blocks to train station. Close to everything! Dining room/Kitchen had everything you need should you want to cook. Play area for the kids and teens, adult lounge as well! This place felt like a gorgeous, cozy, family home!

It was a beautiful and cozy property with easy access to everything in Engelberg. I loved the balcony in our room to see the mountains and the charming streets of Engelberg. The customer service was personal and top notch, making you feel like family during our stay!

Not a major thing but a bit "annoying" if you do not like/want to carry your mobile phone with you at all times: the concierge app is used to open the door and to communicate with the hotel managers. The app works ok, but you may need a few tries (minutes) before you get into your room....I had to activate both bluetooth and GPS for the lock to work. the alternative is to memorize a 6-digit code.

The place is spotless clean, feels very relaxed and homely. There is also a very caring and helpful management team. the idea to offer guests a possibility of preparing their own meals during the stay is great. It gives one flexibility, and significantly reduces the price, especially if you have a smaller budget , do not want to dine out every night or are a family with children. The kitchen is equipped with everything one may need to.prepare a full dinner, even if you want to bake a cake 😄

It is slightly tricky entering the room with the electronic key on one's phone: sometimes the phone cases mask the signal.

The facilities were great. I loved the idea of the shared kitchen (which was super well equipped) and facilities. The staff were extremely helpful - Alexander went above and beyond to help me in my stay (own the check-in, for tips on the neighbourhood, then organising dinner etc -we ordered take out dinner from their restaurant and ate in the communal kitchen). You meet great people in the shared facilities. In addition, the bathroom and shower were wonderful: big, clean and very functional.

Great location, cosy modern rooms, super friendly staff, fantastic children's playroom, we really enjoyed our stay! We didn’t have a chance to eat at the restaurant, but heard great reviews from locals. The communal kitchen had everything we needed, including coffee and tea. Although the check-in was via an app, we also received a warm welcome in person and many helpful tips. There are also toboggans in the basement, which you can borrow. We will be back!

The room was too hot (we tried decreasing the heating but it didn't work or wasn't enough) There were some very loud parties / drunken people shouting outside the hotel in the middle of night waking us up

This is the first time we really felt home away from home! Rooms are really cozy, the shared kitchen is super-well equipped (e.g. not only a stove and a microwave, but an oven, etc.) -- and everything is kept within the same design, which really make it feel as the whole. The location is super-convenient as well: ~15 min from the train station, ~5 min from bus stations to ski areas, ~7 min from grocery shops and ~10 min from a ski rent. The stuff is super-friendly and almost every day there were small evening compliments in the shared kitchen like hot chocolate with marshmallows, which contribute to the cozyness. Everything is controlled via the app, so it's self- check-in, self- check-out, live chat with the stuff in case needed and no physical key.

Like the concept: Hotel-type rooms with large shared super equipped kitchen (each room has a separate box in the fridge) and a common room (piano room). Bus stop to go to Titlis cable car is right next door. Parking (limited) available behind the house.

Not really, we like everything..

It's was a great stay, feels like your home. Best location, all facilities available at one place and good time to stay. Children also enjoy play room at hotel with many games and activities. Kitchen is awesome, nice place to have dinner and cook our own recipes. Rooms are also spacious and nice ambience. Most recommended place in Engelberg/ Titlis.

Don’t get me started on using the app to unlock the door 😞

Everything is absolutely superb and extremely well though out. Like the kitchen area, lounge, helpful staff. But please guys, don’t torture us with the app. Great to save labour costs, nightmare to load photo and scan passport (which even airlines don’t ask for!).
