The Hotel is located on the edge of the old town, quiet location with nice view to the city (from my room). I have checked in the evening and the reception seem to be waiting for me. Simple and easy check in and a friendly staff member greeted me. In the room a hand written and signed welcome note and fresh fruits were prepared for me, very nice touch. The hotel accommodated my wish for a high floor level room with nice view. The breakfest was fresh and well presented with high quality and local ingrediencies every morning. The room was spacious elegantly designed exactly how it was reflected on the pictures. The extra care and attention to the details and service is noticeable throughout.

We did not watch it but the TV is quite small, and so is the shower cabin, especially if compared to the size of the bathroom.

The hotel is very central and in a beautiful historical building. We stayed in a very spacious room, furniture is simple but elegant. The bathroom (also spacious) had a lovely big vintage look bathtube and a shower cabin. The breakfast is served at the table and it is freshly prepared.

It’s a beautiful house in the middle of the old part of town. The rooms are spacious, the beds big and comfy, the bathroom modern and large. Staff was very friendly, breakfast great.

Lovely hotel in the old town. easy to reach from the train station, either by bus or on foot. very quiet, comfortable beds, clean, espresso machine and water at your disposal. Good breakfast, great staff. Dinner was superb. we arrived on a Sunday which meant that the hotel and restaurant were closed but everything was organised for our arrival. thank you all for your kindness and helpfulness. we will surely come back.

Perfect Location in the center of the old town. I ate dinner there which was very nice, although the portions were a bit small. Breakfast was more than adequate; plentyful and delicious with many small treats and as much of them as I would have wanted. I liked the small portions so that I could have a bit of everything. A plus for me was the Smokers Lounge which is rather rare nowadays in Switzerland. But this was a very nice furnished one and served as well.

We had a very spacious room overlooking the street in the old town centre. A bowl with fresh fruit and chocolates welcomed us in the room. We also enjoyed a very delicious dinner in the restaurant of the hotel. Parking was easy with designated spaces right in front of the hotel.

I was missing a kettle to make tea in my room. But this is a very minor issue and I know I could have asked for it.

the hotel was great! we arrived with a dog and found a bag of treats on the table at the room. that was very thoughtful! the staff is friendly, Wi-Fi works perfect, the bath is huge and the beds are comfortable. Burgdorf is a beautiful city. highly recommend!
