Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

RomaniaI personally prefer a closed bathroom, here the sink and the bathtub were open and the shower and toilette had a glass opaque door, but it is a very personal opinion. Don't try to move the big chair in the room, I tried that and it was very heavy and by mistake I put it on one of my toes and had a ugly cut, but this was badluck for me.
The staff was very friendly and explained with pacience everything we need it. We were surprised that besides the free shuttle bus from the hotel to Lausanne, we also had free public transportation in the city. It was very clean and we had a big room. I also liked that in the halls of the hotel you have chairs and tables so when tbe kids felt asleep we could comfortably talk in front of the room.

FranceNo heating in the room and when I called the reception during the night (very late) I have been told that it was the 3rd time they are receiving this complaint from this room 1211 (it was not me because it was my first and only night) but no reparation seems has been done since then. Also when showering water flews out of the shower cabine all over floor around it and in front of wc. It is unacceptable for a 4 stars hotel ! In the morning when I related this again to the reception of course I received excuses and I was exempted to pay our breakfast .

LuxembourgI have no idea what is wrong with ALL hotels in Lausanne, but in each & every of them the chairs in the rooms are just dirty... Lots of stains and marks from previous usage. Guys, get your cleaning staff to look at it at least from time to time or just replace it with the leather piece. It was disgusting and I couldn't use it although it looked very comfortable.
I liked the freshness of this hotel, modern look of the hotel and calm hood with a good access to Lausanne. Very good lamb for dinner ;-) Hotel is 5 minutes walking distance from EPFL.

United StatesProfessionals beware of this hotel!!! I booked a superior double room with 2 beds - clearly indicated on the site as being a large room with a double bed and sofa bed for myself and my work colleague. When my colleague and I arrived, we were given a room with 1 double bed and no space for a second. It was not the room that I booked. When I showed the staff at the front desk (who were not particularly friendly) this error, I was told that we were two people and did not need a bigger room. When I insisted, I was then told that "the booking site never sent these details" and I should have reserved with the hotel directly. As the hotel was full, there was no other room available. Furthermore, there was no door on the bathroom. The toilet and showers are minimally frosted glass where you can see everything. There is also a full-length mirror that looks into the "bathroom area" so basically no privacy whatsoever. This design is appropriate for a romantic stay, not a business hotel that supposedly caters to conferences. Our room cards did not work. We had to go and have them reprogrammed 4 times. The free WiFi worked initially on the first day, but I needed to request a code on the next day as it was no longer valid. Breakfast was good, but the dining area was too small and overwhelmed with guests during the morning hours. Ultimately, I had to leave the hotel and book a room somewhere else as the room was too suboptimal for business colleagues to share. There was no reduction or even apology for the mistake on the room. The hotel staff insisted that it was the correct room (even though it was obviously too small to accommodate 2 beds) and refused to take anything off the price but the city tax since I did not stay. The quality of this hotel is not 4 stars. The hotel is using this site to allow guests to book rooms that are not available (or that the hotel staff decide that they do not need), but charges full price. A scam to be avoided at all costs!
