A great concept allowing customers to bring own food and drinks, cook, enjoy coffee, relax in the communal lounge, enjoy a drink or self catered meal on the terrace as the sun sets. Rooms are imaginative with great use of wall space. Cosy room is small but well designed for maximum comfort. Bed was the best I’ve slept in during our time in Switzerland. Staff are super helpful and provided detergent for free to use washing machine and dryer as well as helpful information about what to see and where to go. Located a short walk from the train station and next to large square with daily markets. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars close by. Aare river is a short stroll and we enjoyed an evening walk down along the river.

The check-in process was flawless, and it was nice to have the room key on my phone. The room was so clean, modern, and well-designed. The views from the room were excellent, and the beds (even on the couch) were incredibly comfortable. Great vibes!

The mattress has a topper but it was too hard containing feathers and probably just a bit old. I ended up folding it over so it was ok. I hope they will update them as I truly wish to return. Maybe this time, they will choose a different topper like tempura or gel. Some grubby tourists in the common area, coughing and spitting in the sink prevented me from using the kitchen too much.

Loved the view out of the second room that I was allocated after complaining about the first one, which had no outlook at all. Staff were exceptionally attentive and helpful and they tried to do anything they could to improve my stay. Nice pillows Perfect location!

Everything was amazing! The location is perfect, so close to Bern Hauptbahnhof (around 6’-8’), there is also a tram and a bus stop 3’-4’ from the hotel! So easy to move around from there! The room was super comfy and clean! The public room is the perfect lounge spot! There was free coffee, tea, milk, jam and biscuits! There is also a fridge (where you can put your groceries, if you want to buy any) and a fully equipped kitchen! The hosts super nice and friendly! I also loved the terrace and the view! I am recommending this to anyone who considers to visit Bern! ✌🏻✨

Great location to explore Bern. Comfortable and compact rooms have everything you need. We loved the communal room where we could make food and enjoy a drink in the evening.

Honestly, this stay was pretty great. We were on our honeymoon, so it would have been extra-nice for some kind of acknowledgment of that, like a room upgrade or welcome note, but overall we were very happy. We noticed there wasn't a TV in the room (or if there was one we couldn't find it) but that didn't affect us very much.

We loved that we were able to arrive early and store our luggage. The lounge/common areas were very welcoming and blew us away- the amenities like fresh espresso were great. Most of all we loved that they offered complimentary laundry- it was a very pleasant surprise.The rooftop terrace was wonderful and provided great views. Our room, while small, was very smartly designed. It was comfortable and stylish.

It’s an interesting concept without a central reception desk and with no physical keys. Checkin worked well, digital keys worked smoothly. I did find myself a bit more worried about losing my phone battery as I’d have no way to get back in. The common area is nice and does cover almost all needs.

If staying her for a long period with lots of luggage the rooms could perhaps be a little crammed. Was a nice room for ourselves with a short stay.

Staying at Hotel Kooook in Bern was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The unique concept of customizable rooms truly sets this hotel apart. I loved being able to tailor my stay to my preferences, whether it was choosing the decor or even the scent of the room. The attention to detail was impeccable, and the room was both stylish and comfortable. The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of Bern with easy access to all the attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic stay. I can't wait to visit again!

The rooms were a bit small for two people, but we made it work. Only one washer/dryer on the property.

Excellent location, near sights, bars and restaurants. Very clean rooms, and very comfortable beds! We slept very well! The common areas are comfortable and well equipped with complimentary coffee/tea. The staff were friendly and helpful!

The location. Bern is quite complex to navigate. It took us longer than expected to reach.

Love the hotel style. Uniqness frontage among the old town of Bern. Easy to do self check-in, lovely staircase that led to the rooftop where we managed to catch both sun rise and sun set.

The room was cosy, modern and looks beautiful. The space was quite small for 2 people but we stayed 2 night and wasn’t so bad.

The location. You are in centre of the city and you reach any objective quickly.

There were a few small steps that weren't aways obvious and are tripping hazards.

Common areas were wonderful, stocked with refreshments and cooking facilities. Rooms were well thought out with maximum usage of small spaces. Loved the dart gun!
