We stayed there one night during our hiking tour of Switzerland. We found there all that we needed to relax and recover. Comfortable beds, clean room, good food and friendly service.

We had to access the hotel through a narrow mountain road - which was dangerous and difficult. But when we got there, all had been worth it. The only problem was that the TV did not really work, but we didn't really need to watch TV, with the beautiful views from our windows.

It is a quaint small hotel in a small rural village in Switzerland. The mountain setting is amazing, and the rooms are very modern and clean, despite it being an old building. The family who run it was very friendly and helpful despite our language difficulties. Tina, who runs reception and serves in the hotel's bar and restaurant, went out of her way to make us feel special and welcome.

it is perfectly located to pass the Gothard Tunnel as you enter the line already in Wassen. The family room has enough space, specially nice because it has two separate rooms. it is very quiet and right in the middle of the mountains. breakfast was also good.

The floor in our bedroom was a bit dusty and sandy, though this did not spoil our stay. We reported one light that was not working.

This hotel and linked restaurant has real style. Lovely. The breakfast was excellent.

Waiting time in the restaurant, but it was worth it.

Good location, easy to find, easy check in, the staff in the restaurant, tasty dinner and lovely decorated breakfast. Room facing the train tracks for those who like trains :-)

we got an upgrade because we were traveling with our baby which was really nice. the place is really quit and verg close to the gotthard tunnel. only about 2 km. we were here Because of our trip to Italy.

Omg their breakfast was fabulous indeed, just like promised by booking.com when we did the booking! A large plate with cheese, meat, fruits and salad for two of us only. Also the staff was very kind, caring and friendly.

You can ask for a breakfast on the go to get an early start for the Gotthard tunnel in order to beat traffic. Friendly and helpful personnel.

Bathroom bit small.

Nice staff kept the bar and kitchen open to serve us after late arrival. Super friendly. Our family room was just renovated and was great. Good parking and great location for the Gotthard tunnel/pass.

the washingtable was in the corner and very small. But for one night pretty OK.

There’s nothing I would’ve changed

Stayed here for one night but wish we could’ve stayed longer! The area is quiet, charming, and conveniently located. The staff were all welcoming and nice, the room was very clean, and the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in! We also ate at the restaurant which was cozy and delicious. What a great stay, thank you Hotel Sternen!

We booked a family room as we were two couples and we found it in a good price considering the area price levels. However, while on bed was build in sort of an attic it had an open space on one side with the main room. So it was impossible to have private space. In addition the breakfast was pricey for what it was and on the second morning we only got on small bottle of orange juice and milk for 4 people, when on the first we had one each per couple. Also a group of other guests got extra fruits and we didn’t even get the boiled egg. Rooms were not cleaned daily.

It was a nice and quiet guest house with nice rooms.
