Bed not very comfortable and very thin matress. Quite noisy very early in the morning from road and breakfast preparation.

Nothing really, the location is great. Rooms are clean and tidy. They’re just a bit dated, but that was part of its charm. It’s a chalet style hotel after all.

Staff were lovely. Hotel was clean. The view from our balcony of The Matterhorn and the town is staggering. spent hours on the balcony with a glass of wine at night. When you turned off the lights in your room the ceiling shoes the stars and constellations glowing in the dark. Bizarre but really cool.

The lift was unfortunately out of order so had to carry luggage by stairs but they managed to fix it before we left.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast options were pretty decent. Generally quite clean. Nice sauna facility for private use for 30 minutes. Relatively close to train station but not too close to avoid crowds. Relatively nice views at the fourth floor.

It was too warm for comfortable sleeping in the room, even with the heating off it stayed around 24 degrees. I slept every night without bed covers.

Sauna and whirlpool much to small...... even though there is plenty of space to enlarge it ...... The wifi in the whole place is super slow, not possible to watch netflix etc........

In our room bath was located inside the room and not in the bathroom. Generally it was ok, but when showering one has to be extra careful not to make the floor wet. During breakfast even I I choose large portion of scrambled eggs it was not large according to my standards :)

Hotel is 5-10 mins walk from Zermatt train station (same distance to the Gornergrat train). Minibar, which had water and some soft drinks, was included in room price. Breakfast is split into cold part available as a buffet and hot meals for which there is an ordering card.

The room was perfect for an overnight stay! Waking up to the sight of the Matterhorn and the alps was just amazing! Location was a few minute walk from the train platforms. The eggs for breakfast were great!

The staff are very nice. the room is clean and comfortable. Near the station, you can walk in 5 minutes.

No adequate soundproofing at all between rooms. Allocation of rooms also could have been a bit more considerate. I was a single female who for a couple or so nights had to put up with two noisy males in an adjoining room, also two males who liked to leave their door wide open to the Corridor morning and eve. A little concerning for me. Toaster in breakfast room missing after second morning? no option for toast. Lack of a specific quite area away from the room within the hotel. Daily free Tea or coffee would have been nice during the day.

I liked the location ( very familiar with Zermatt) staff were super friendly ( Particularly reception staff) enjoyed private use of sauna area, mini bar drinks in room was nice touch and the fairy lights on the balcony on an eve. Good breakfast, particularly the Bircher Muesli ( my favourite)
