The lodge was built to maximize capacity, with what looks like one floor separated into two floors so you hear everything from the upstairs neighbors when they walk in their room. The bathroom was missing a light so we showered in the dark. And upon moving the beds around, discovered piles of dust and dirt under them - was a bit grossed out.

Friendly vibes, great staff and the lounge area had a pleasant atmosphere to relax. Breakfast was pretty decent and in general it was ok for one night.

Always the WiFi, why always with this annoying registration page.. which half the time doesn’t work (IPhone7 unable to connect). Wake-up and all devices disconnected, had to register again. Pfff

The bathroom shower needs to be fixed in the room that was allocated to us. We have to hold the shower as it doesn’t stay in a fixed position!!

It was loud at night when all the travelers were settling in (you could hear lots of footsteps and talking through the walls), and the ceiling was low in our room - one of us kept bumping our head on the overhead beam. The hotel is also situated directly on a busy road. It's not a problem at night but it is somewhat loud in the morning & afternoon.

Very friendly and helpful manager & breakfast staff, and the hotel was located in a picturesque town a couple of km from Andermatt. Beds were comfortable, bathroom spacious and very clean.

Lack of helpful information on places to eat and only pointing us to their sister hotels in Andermatt. They advertised that they provided evening meals from the 1st July but didn’t! If we had moved our car we would have lost our parking place as parking was limited. Friendly manager and I did point out to him these issues as well as saying there were no facilities on the premises for getting hot or cold drinks. In fact when we wanted to ask questions the reception closed at 1800.

Stuff is friendly, and breakfast was good, but it was of season so I think you have more to choose from when it is the proper season. The room was very clean.

Some things were basic e.g. just two towels and two sachets of soap, Breakfast was a bit basic too for the price. Hospental is not any kind of location compared with Andermatt.

No wifi or tv in the rooms. Wifi in the dining room. The floors are all wood, so they creak and bang when anyone moves about. Not the place to stay if you want to sleep in the next morning, because once other guests start moving about you will be woken up.
