Clean, comfortable, and located just opposite the Geneva central station. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is helpful, and the breakfast is simple, but entirely adequate.

One has to understand that the Bernina isn’t a holiday resort or part of a major hotel chain. Don’t expect swimming pool or tennis courts. It is a city hotel that you don’t spend much time at the hotel other than sleeping and having breakfast. The location was perfect for me, right opposite to Geneva train station, only minutes away from airport. This is important because you can get a taxi anytime. It is a corner building and stayed at the top floor, which gave me a good view of the city over the rooftops. The room is not big but very clean and has comfortable beds and a table to work on. Blind shutters were perfect because I use them at home too for total darkness. The windows were triple glazed to provide a very quiet room. There is a lounge in the ground floor with complementary coffee, tea and cookies. Had complimentary coffee and tea in the room also. The refrigerator was big enough for bottles. Breakfast was not ‘’Englis breakfast’’ with scrambled eggs and bacon etc.. but very efficient with cereals, eggs, pastry, tea, coffee fruit juice etc... Wifi had good speed. Staff was friendly and they had ‘’no hurry’’ approach. small but very good detail, they had umbrellas for the guests' use, which was very helpful. They served only breakfast but they had agreement with the next door brasserie if you needed to eat something. If I have to return to Geneva, the Bernina will be my first choice.

The hotel just in front of the train station and even though, it was quiet in the room. Very good location as a base to explore Geneva and also for trips out as the station is so close. Many restaurants and shops around. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bed very comfortable, I've seen negative comments about pillows but for me actually all was very comfy. Stay came with the free public transport pass in Geneva which was a nice surprise 😊

Only downside was it was very warm (30c), and it almost seems the air conditioning is off or set very high overnight, with no way to adjust it (I tried... several times). Sleeping was difficult, even with covers off and window open.

The hotel is in a prime location, right across from Cornavin train/tram/bus station. Staff was wonderful, and the room was small but well-appointed.

Nothing really. It’s right across from the train station, which is either a plus or a minus depending on your taste (can tend to get rowdy on weekend nights). For us it was fine, as the windows sound proof well.

This hotel exceeded my expectations: Exceptionally clean, tasteful modern rooms, very comfortable beds (GREAT pillows-wanted to ask where I could get some myself as the were the best pillows I’ve slept on in a while…!), and super friendly staff (even late at night!)
