Room was excellent as was the staff. The hot tub and spa were also wonderful. We did not eat the breakfast, but it always smelled wonderful. The location was perfect, close to everything and right on the main road. The staff was excellent, always helpful. We throughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely place.

Low ceiling in the room and even lower in the bathroom, I could not even stand up right while taking a shower. The house restaurant is not more than okay.

Every was Good.

Very good staff. We asked about the weather for the Gornergrat she kindly put on the web cam at the top of the mountain, so we could do the trip as the weather was alright. A very nice room only sorry we could not stop longer and use the leisure facilities. Very good stay. Hotel easy to find ,right in the middle of Zermatt

No complaints about the hotel, we have stayed on several occasions over the years and love it. General comment though about Zermatt (and indeed Switzerland) the exchange rate is now a bit of a killer!

The Walliserhof is located in an excellent location about 150m up from the railway station on the main drag. The hotel has old-world charm and the rooms are full of character. The food was excellent both for breakfast (we did B&B) but also the food in the hotel's restaurant is of Swiss character and excellent. The staff, in all areas, are helpful and first-class.

Excellent location just near the train station; very spacious rooms compared to other swiss hotels; even has a small balcony with partial matterhorn view. This is a really great value cozy hotel in zermatt.

Location. The room was great and very spacious and we loved the bath tub with sky lights.

It would be great if the windows are installed with screens to prevent flies, mosquitos and bees to fly into the room.

The room is very spacious and we enjoyed our hotel room so much. Location was great with a 4-minute walk from the main train station that made it easy for us to carry our luggage. Breakfast was great with variety of items.

Decor highlighted yesteryear. Room was big with doors opening onto outside shared verandah. Friendly, accommodating staff. Location fabulous coz close to Gornergrat Railway; hotel off Main Street so plenty of access to eateries, old area, Matterhorn Museum.

No screen on the windows so that bug may come in, the wifi is not fully working we had only 2 out of 6 devices connected.

Breakfast could be more varied but in overall it's very good

Everything was great. Super spacious and clean room with beautiful decoration. We got room with balcony with nice view to the Matterhorn. Location is super, just a few minutes walk from the train station. The staffs were really nice and helpful. Great value for money!
