Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwitzerlandBreakfast is until 10 am, but the eggs and bacon sometimes ran out by 9:30 am and was not replaced. I would recommend arriving at breakfast no later than 9:15 am if you want all of the food options
Great place to stay close to the ski resort at an affordable price. It is easy to catch a bus to the ski lifts. I had a friend join me for the last night of my stay, and the staff was very accomodating to switch me to a double room for the last day. The double room had a beautful view, and the per person nightly rate was not that much more expensive. The shower also had great water pressure

United KingdomThe only down side is that the road is quite busy and the rooms can be noisy with the windows open (the rooms are very warm so needed the windows open).
Nice hotel. Slightly different location to what I expected as I thought it was right by the main gondala. However a short ride on the near-by T-bar and a short ski across takes you to the base of the main gondala, so no hassle at all. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was fine. The resort has lovely skiing with some really nice runs.

SwitzerlandI would like to have a small fridge and the option to warm things up in our building, instead of having to go to the main building (not convenient with small child in the evening). Some stronger light in the room (especially in the entrance) would be appreciated too

We stayed at the Steinbock Haus. Rooms are actually better than on the pictures. They are very clean and we got a great view on the mountains. Staff is very friendly. The restaurant has good food.

Located within a short walk from the Tannenboden gondola, the Intersport, and several ski lifts this hotel is very convenient. The room was comfortable, spacious, and clean.

SwitzerlandThe door of the ski storage room faces the sidewalk and was wide open during the day - anyone could just walk in, guests' valuables lay there. My daughter left her gloves on the bench inside the room and they disappeared. It took quite long to get the food during dinner (although I must say that it was a gorgeous weekend and the hotel was full).
All I would expect of a typical 3-star hotel in a ski region during winter. Parking in front of the hotel was no problem, ski storage room is placed very handy. The view from the room is amazing (Churfisten), common areas (e.g. corridors, bathrooms) are clean and well maintained. Breakfast is simple (average), not particularly good nor bad. Everyone from the staff was very kind and friendly - in spite of being overloaded.
