What was bit off was when wanted to sleep with an open window, I had the room next to some supply or staff, and at 4:30 am they usually start opening doors and making noise at 5 am which distributed my sleep bit. It was at ground next to the reception room.

The location was superior, and I liked it as it was a walkable distance from the conference at the university. Choosed this hotel because of gym equipment and silent location

The pillows are too soft and the mattress is a bit hard. This combinination gives me a bad sleep. I sincerely suggest they change to more neck-supportive pillows.

The room is large and clean. I love the decoration which show swiss tradition. We came to visit the Kunsthaus and the zoo, and the hotel is one block away from the Kunsthaus. There's very nice Japanese restaurant just around the corner.

No one at the front desk to complain to about the noise upstairs. We stayed 2 nights we were that sleep deprived didn't realise we booked out a day early. The bloke on the front desk never enquired and when I sent an email they never responded. I don't think they liked their job, no smiles Not a good introduction. I got an email a out something that needed to be signed before we could stay. When tried to open just said broken We left our accommodation to head over. Our check out was midday but I was afraid if we hadn't signed this document they wouldn't keep our booking. They made us wait until 3pm before we could get in. 5 hours or we could pay 163.00 and get in earlier. That Important paper was that we wouldn't smoke in the room. Tv was all foreign. Fridge was not on in the room

it’s worth noting that the bar fridge remains unstocked and one can only get drinks and snacks from the reception area to take to your room. Additionally, the absence of a comfortable lounge area and a luggage storage room could be areas for improvement. The only seating in the reception area is hard wooden benches.

Swiss Night is located in a quiet residential area, conveniently close to the Lake and the Kunsthaus. The room was tastefully decorated in typical Swiss style, with modern amenities including heating, warm blankets, a desk, and coffee-making facilities. We liked the whole ambience of the facility. The breakfast was delicious and there was a variety on offer. Breakfast is served in the cellar which in itself was an interesting venue.

Location is great: quiet small street, 5-10 minutes walk to the city centre. Hotel is small and cozy. Room was clean (cleaning and linen changed every day), enough for 3 people and quiet (especially because it faced a small backyard). For us was also great to charge our e-auto at a reasonable price.

Location was great, it is not directly at the main road, so it was quiet and you could hear the birds in the morning instead of the cars driving by, definitely a plus :) Rooms are clean and comfortable so totally to what we needed.

We Checked out a bit late as we would like to organise the room as well as we could as we have a 4 year old, it’s very difficult to dress him up as he is running around and refused to cooperate. We took the super narrow and super slow lift down to the reception to return the key, and we were asked to pay a CHF 30 because it was almost 15 minutes past 12. There was no notification, no warning , no reminder, no call before 12, but very harsh attitude and firm request of a the payment. Our kid is running and we had to go but never never again.

I found that the staff are not very friendly. Actually we felt this way in general while in Switzerland. We had to be first to greet and smile. A simple greeting such as Good morning,How are you? Is expected in the tourism industry. However this was not the norm. Anyways this didn’t spoil our stay at the hotel as everything else was really great. There’s no harm in being the first to smile and greet.

The location was good. Course you the tram station and to a grocery store. Rooms were really lovely. Loved the theme. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and smart. We didn’t take the accommodation with breakfast so the kettle and minibar fridge was very useful.

Mini fridge could be a bit larger, could not fit much in it. And this is not a complaint on the hotel itself but one floor above us must’ve been a family with children and they were running and stomped around at all hours of the night both nights we stayed so that was quite disruptive. Walls/floors are very thin so it’s not the quietest place. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay.

Very clean and staff was very nice and everyone we encountered spoke english which was helpful. Breakfast buffet was lovely, a bit overpriced im my opinion but this is Zurich so it is to be expected.
