I wanted to ask for an extra 'duvet/ couverture'. I didn't know who to ask in case the owner is not there or won't prefer communicating in case it is late.

The villa is very beautiful. the room and bathrooms were very clean and facilities such as towel/ tissue etc were of a great quality. The room allotted had a beautiful view from the window.

Unfortunately I could not find the box with the key in it, even the next day when I checked out. I was lucky that the doors were all open. An explanation of where the key box can be found would be helpful. I was confused about the private bathroom. I had a private bath, but not a private toilet, which was fine, but not well explained.

The Villa has real character and the furniture and facilities were comfortable and first class. The contact with the owner was really great, he was very helpful, even calling me back in the middle of the night. I loved staying here!

no curtains in room which could be a problem in summer (but no privacy issues). check in was frustrating as promised information on key box did not arrive - had to ring to find out but in fairness reply was instant and access soon gained. note steep hill up from town and steep path to house (by uk standards!)

good value and convenient location for station. a good range of facilities for self catering. quirky but interesting property and quiet surroundings.

City map or direction to tourist information center should be provided. Should advise guests the direction from train station to hotel more specifically that they could take Zwinglistrasse or Winkelriedstrasse (slope road) and no need to take steps from downhill as Google map suggests.

Facilities are fully provided. What I like best is hair dryer. Bathroom is clean.

Too many hills and stairs to climb in order to get there, in the night was a bit confusing finding the place.

Location is perfect, bed very comfortable, everything was super clean and the communication with the owner was smooth. As well, everything as described in the description.

when i got there the room is not done yet, well i was 30.min early so i just left my baggage and when i returned after an hour and half around 5 pm it is still not yet done. so there is only small time to stay in the room because i checked out early as well.

If you follow the Google Maps route, there are endless stairs. After the first stair, continue right at the road and left at the first junction. It is much easier... This should be in the description!

I liked everything.

This looks like a traditional centuries-old house remodelled internally as b&b. It is beautiful as it is and staying in it felt like entering a time capsule. My room was very comfortable and with a beautiful view to tall trees in the back garden. The bed was very cosy. The communal kitchen and shower room were well-equipped and kept very clean. The price was quite good for St Gallen. The host was helpful by providing very clear instructions for self-check-in and holding my luggage for retrieval past checkout time. I can only recommend staying in this property.

Nothing. Although there was a spider web & spider in the corner of the room, however,it wasn't disturbing and quite normal thing here.

The villa was beautiful. The room was clean and modern, with sink included in the unit. The view is amazing. It is located behind the train station (you can use the staircases), also quite close to the marketplace.

The climb up (if walking from the train station) is painful. Although located very near to the station and marketplace, the climb is a little deterrent.

Staying in a 120 year old building which is quite well maintained was an experience. The host really takes very good care of you. The surroundings are full of trees and it seems like living secluded in a forest.

Only thing I missed was privat toilet. But it wasn't really a big problem.

Location was suitable for me, I was in a conferens in Open Museum. Sort walk to center of the city, to old town, nice and peaceful location. If you move by walk, you must be in good condition because of location big above of he center. Host was a nice and polite man.

The walls are very thin. The floors are noisy to walk on. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

There was no breakfast included. The room was nice also there was a cozy Livingroom for guests. Which can be used by guests staying in 3 rooms on one floor upstairs.Kitchenette which is nice. With microwave, stove, oven, hot water kettle, coffee maker. Pots, pans, plates, cups etc all provided. Shared shower and toilet. It’s spacious and close to everything!

No paid breakfast. A bit far from the train station. The single room was very small. No food provided. The check-in at 5 pm is very late in the evening. The check-in time could be better. The washrooms are very small.

The cleanliness is great. The staff are very helpful and courteous.
