The apartment was too hot and I didn't find the device to regulate the temperature very user-friendly. Hardly saw any staff and sometimes the customer-service takes a while to reply to emails. I think the check-in and check-out hours aren't suitable. Check-in can only be done after 3pm and in case you want to leave your bag you need to pay extra and book it with customer-service since there's no-one from the staff on the premises. Regarding check-out, it's at 10am!! If you want to go out for a drink on a Saturday night you need to be back by mid-night like cinderella because you'll be "kicked-out" first thing in the morning. Not nice when you're on holidays and want to have a relaxing stay. Besides, it means that you will need to carry your bags the entire day like it happened to me since my flight was only at 9pm and on top of that it was raining.. So I didn't like this at all.

For me, the location was perfect because despite being a little far from the city centre (20 -30 minute walk) it was 5 min away from the train station where the bus from and to the airport, stops, and where many trams that go to the city centre also stop. The apartment was exactly like in the photos which was really good. Very clean and quiet. I also appreciated the city's policy of providing a Basel Card to everyone that stays overnight in the city. It is provided by your accommodation provider and it entitles you to use all trams and buses for free during your stay and also gives you a 50% discount in many museums and other activities.

The communication was only throughout e mails and at first with slow response.Too many things with good taste packed in a small place but not practical and really useful as there is no place left to put your suitcase and open your baggage.The stools for eating were so tall you could not rally seat comfortable and so bulky that you could not walk through but always bumped on them .The wardrobe was so small that there fitted only the ironboard and if get out the board not enough space to open it and use it.So, REALLY small room , although in the photos seemd spacious. A traveler needs practical rooms .I dont think that rooms were designed for people with luggage.The room must be a place for rest and not a place packed with too many things .

Clean, comfy bed and luxurious modern bathroom .Many amenities like iron bord, hairdryer, dishwasher,kitchen , fridge, microwave.A place in the building for laundry although we did not use it .Feel of safety,modern feel,free card for busses,close to train station if you need it to make daytrips .

Some plugs and the coffee machine did not work in our room however we felt there was no one to really alert to this. The property itself (not the room) was a bit strange with large communal bar and seating areas closed off and in darkness, so this felt a bit creepy.

The rooms were nice and large with a balcony we could sit on in the sunshine. The location of the property was perfect and we eventually recieved a Basel card for free travel.

there was little to no contact with staff which can be nice but also confusing on how to get around if you’re a tourist. I only had euros on me with no clue on where to exchange it. However there is an exchange office at the train station, which is handy to know.

It was so much better than expected. Great location with easy access from the train station. The studio was well equipped had everything I needed and even more. This was my first time checking in and out without human contact and it was optimal for me in this case as i had to check in relatively late at around 2 am due to a delayed train. it was easy to access the room with the passcode. Good price for the studio. I will definitely be using it again in the future!

As an American, I did not expect that the code would be sent to me after I sent my passport picture. It was not clear in communication. This is not customary in my country. Please, make it clear that code is not going to be sent in unless picture of the passport is sent.

There was no cloth for washing the dishes and no shampoo and conditioner which there was when I stayed previously. I had to leave my dirty dishes for the cleaner to wash as a result. I only used a couple of plates and not worth using the dish washer.

The cleanliness, comfortable mattress, small kitchen to be able to keep a little food and roomy shower. The robes are a nice touch. The room was nice and warm.

A minor thing - you can book storage if you need to store your luggage as there is no reception, but you have to carry the luggage 1 flight of stairs. That's where Alexander came in and helped me out 😊

Location is perfect, close to the railstation but also walking distance to the old city centre. Studio is set up with everything you need. Very clean. Check in with a pin so flexible arrival. Local manager Alexander was great, helped with my suitcase.

Customer Service wasn’t on the best level - they were responsive, but not solving the issue. First the Basel card was not in the apartment and I need to request it again twice, before I received it on the second day afternoon. Then I asked for storage access and despite paying for it a day in advance I wasn’t provided with the code, I received twice wrong instruction, where the storage is in the building, code was active from 3pm when check out was at 10am - again I had to call 4 times and waste almost an hour to get it solved.

Very nice apartment, big, fully equipped. Good location - very close to the station and walking distance to the city center.

My stay at VISIONAPARTMENTS Basel Nauenstrasse was most comfortable. The apartment and location are excellent. I attempted to extend by one night, but unfortunately, there was no availability.
