we arrived by car and drove into the entrance off the street blocking the footpath, however a staff member immediately came and opened the door to let us use the car park while we unloaded. We were then able to return the rental car easily. Checkin was easy and the reception staff were very helpful. Also the best coffee we have had since arriving in Europe and from an automatic machine. Nicely located to resturants and transport. Easy walking distance to the old town. Very clean and comfortable. We didn't have breakfast but loked at what was available and it looked very good. This facility is not child friendly. It's one thing to have child size toilet seats and cute shampoo, but windows are too low and I could only open out, not pivot - very dangerous. The door locks can be easily opened by a toddler. I did not sleep well because I was warm from not being able to have open windows (child fall hazard) and fearing my toddler would climb out of the pack and play and run out the door. The windows also are not blackout curtains, the room had much light until 10pm despite all curtains fully closed.

The staff was very helpful. The rooms and facility are very clean, the same we have experienced in the past. This was our first time using on site parking and it was very convenient. It was a great perk that we were given passes to use local public transportation for free.

It was a very clean room, there was a playroom for kids, and the staff was very helpful. There was a coupon from the hotel for the city transport for free, that was very nice and helpful.

The “comfort double” room was a bit small.

The property is very clean and in a convenient location next to the tram station. We haven’t used public transport as we walked to the city centre. Friendly staff and lots of amenities. Great value for money.

The same breakfast every single day for 6 days in a row, no exceptions The positioning of the water tap in the bathroom (I hit myself a few times while taking shower) Weird lighting system in the room — it was always pretty dark The window roller (outside) have been lowered 80% by the staff at some point during my stay and I couldn’t bring them up despite looking for the hidden button for quite some time :) No dinner, except for some sort of Catering from a local pizzeria offering a relatively low choice (yet tasty) dishes. But despite the aforementioned, I am pleased with my stay at this hotel and will definitely consider staying there again

Very comfortable room. The minibar items were all free. Also, we had free transport in Basel during our staying, including arrival day from the airport until midnight in the check-out day. You can serve coffee and tea anytime you want, even if you don't have breakfast included.

The only thing was the room was very stuffy and warm and there was no aircon. There was a fan but it didn't have the same effect. Even in December, we woke up sweating. Not a deal breaker though.

The staff were very friendly. The location was excellent. The room was well equipped, there is a mini bar with coke and water and beer that is restocked every day for free. The breakfast was nice too. The room gave a complimentary umbrella too which was handy.

The layout of the bathroom. The bathroom shower in room 612, was very uncomfortable to take a shower. Then celling are too low to stand. I do not recommend the rooms on the six floor.
