we didn't know that de Basel card was free, they didn't send us properly so we paid for the museum when with the Basel card you are able to have a discount.

we felt at home, very clean, the dining room was nice, big table, we will able to have breakfast together. quiet place, nice Guest, nice game room, my children enjoy.

The workers are so friendly and helpfull, i was there early and they arrange me early checkin. There is a nice restaurant at the resepsiyon, bar and restaurant both. Rooms are clean and big enough. Location spot is very good.

Great little hostel, very quiet. Lovely indoor and outdoor communal space. The rooms and showers etc are clean and comfortable. Towel is left for you on your prepared bed and there is a light by each bed and a USB connection to charge your devices!The Basel card you get when you stay in the city is amazing, the transport is so easy to use and the 50% off at the museums etc is great. The guy at the bar (sorry I don’t remember your name!) is super helpful for beer recommendations (try the Matt and Elly!) and for help around the hostel/city. The pizza at the hostel with the Swiss cheese was also great!

There were too many crying children around. Of course, it's not the hotel's fault. :) Other than that everything was admirable!

The staff is absolutely phenomenal, they greeted me with a smile and a friendly chat, they helped me with some train questions and were very patient. They made me feel really welcome and like I was meeting a friend, especially George and Alex.

I didn’t like how the chargers by the beds are only USB. Only 1 out of the 6 beds in my room had a plug next to them.

Great facilities (kitchen and living room). Love that you can open doors with your phone. Comfortable beds and great location. Clean toilet and showers. Just a headsup that the showered are not separated by sex.

Highly recommend if you are a family travelling, staff and location was perfect for the kids and for the wife and I to enjoy the city walk. Recommended easy going great showers and clean rooms A+ thanks we will come again

By night, the front door lock is not working unless someone grant's access. Don't forget to inform and online check if you intend to arrive in the late hours.

The hostel atmosphere is male friendly, lounge seats and diner room are very luminescent and clean. The proper showers have soap dispenser's and individual door's.

The bathrooms were not too clean. I found there was not much choice for breakfast which was disappointing considering the price but I still enjoyed it.

It was modern and decorated really nice. The staff were friendly and I actually had been upgraded to a private room with a capsule which was a nice surprise. It is located on a quiet street which means it feels peaceful but there are shops close by for amenities and the Basel SBB station.

Self check in. A mobile application with door opening buttons and many thoughtful tips before arriving at the hostel created the impression that you had come to your own home. I got off the train as usual (the station is 5 minutes from the Hostel), walked to my place, which is easy to find, opened the door, intuitively immediately understood where your room was, opened the door from the phone in my room, went to the comfortable bed in the room, where there is everything you need. I was also pleased with the infrastructure of the hostel itself and the atmosphere (even though I stayed in a single room). I will definitely stay here on my next trips

My bed (upper part of the bunk bed) didn't have guard rails unlike the other bunk beds in the room. This left me feeling a bit uneasy and also made climbing the ladder slightly more difficult.

The hostel was clean, nicely fournished and moderately calm. Self-check kiosks were available (although some of them weren't working correctly at the time), as well as borrowing a lock at the reception.

no staff preset at night for questions. There was no towel on my bed, but after digging around the room I found one in a cupboard. the ladders to the upper bunk beds are very hard to climb up and down.

Not sure if I would recommend for solo travellers looking to socialise but it may just be because I travelled in the off season 🤷‍♀️ Also the lockers need a certain type of lock and I was not able to lock my stuff away which was frustrating.

Absolutely lovely stay here, you get given a code to enter and then you self check in and get given a code for your room. The kitchen is on the ground floor at the and and has a lot of facilities! Each floor has gendered toilets and joint showers. Basel has a system where if you are staying overnight in the City than you can use the transport for free so the hostel sends helpful emails with information regarding that. There’s space outside and inside to relax and it’s less than five minutes straight up the street from the station!

Very cozy, with the right mix of personal and communal space (including a community kitchen!) which gave me the feeling of being at home. The check in, check out and keypad systems were completely automated which made the logistics super easy. That combined with responsive customer service and friendly staff and easy walking distance to the main train station / public transport means I’ll definitely book again on my next pass through Basel.
