The first room was definitely too small for 6 people/beds. Despite an open laundrette in the basement an occupant/s placed the laundry airer full of freshly washed clothes making the whole room stuffy and smelly - this was with no regard to the health of others and the staff should not allow this. Luckily, received another place when discussing the issue and the conditions there were much better.

Great location, love the breakfast, it’s like a healthy caffe inside the place, you can do just alla cart or the “all you can eat”. The people at the hotel are very nice and helpful. Beds are comfortable, posituon very close to the station is strategic in Basel. I would return to stay in this cool hotel, if I am alone ir with friends.

The toilets were not the nicest. There are no plugs in your bed area, only USB ports which are outdated for the newer iPhones so I was lucky I had my portable charger. Plug sockets in the rooms were also too small to fit a uk to eu adapter.

The lounge area and garden are nice to relax and have a beer in and meet other travellers. Beds were comfortable. Staff are the desk were always friendly and able to help. In a good location close to central station and some cafes, restaurants and shops. About a 15 minute walk to the centre of Basel which is fine for me

The price might feel a bit expensive, but it is about Switzerland were everything is super expensive, and one has also to consider that some facilities that in other hostels are extra charged (like then luggage store or for instance a bath towel) are included in the initial price.

It is one of the best hostels that I have ever been to. The location is super nice, in a beautiful neighbourhood super close from the railway station and in this way appropriate to reach the city center as well. The facilities of the hostel are super modern, and it provides for example an outstanding terrasse and large spaces to relax or even to work with the computer. This being so, I would say there is a super nice relaxing atmosphere in the hostel, which I personally highly appreciated. It is has nothing to do with a partying style youth hostel. The rooms were also really convenient. The staff was nice and helpful.

Friendly staff: I checked in late and they sent me detailed information on how to register at the hostel on my own. Comfortable bed, clean room. The location is also very convenient, close to the SBB train station.

I didn't like the lockers that are used because I think only with a very specific padlock can it be lockable. I couldn't lock it with the padlock I brought with myself.

Everything was very clean (rooms, beds, bathrooms...) and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The location is very close to SBB Basel from where it's easy to reach any part of the town. Upon receiving the receipt, a free Basel travel card is also given so that public transport can be used freely. The staff are really nice, friendly and hardworking. Special thanks go to cleaners who do an exceptional work of making the place feel very clean and hygienic every day.

This an amazing place! I haven’t stayed in hostels for a long time, but as I am on the road for a month it seemed a good idea. So positively surprised. Everything is so clean and feels solid. The beds, sheets, towels, are very proper, clean are of good quality, as are the bathrooms. Great light common spaces. The building is quite calm and sound proof. Calm ‘mature’ guests. Slept like a baby here. Location is convenient next to the station, enough resto’s, coffee and supermarket around the corner. Breakfast is good, staff responsive.

No divider curtains on the bunk beds, so limited privacy. No electrical outlets by the beds, only USB-A plugs.

The friendly and accomodating staff are a major selling point for this hostel. Can't thank them enough for helping me out in a sticky situation. The communal areas are also great. Breakfast, though simple, offers quality products. Beds are comfortable, and the hostel is in a quiet neighbourhood. If you are coming by bike, there is a dedicated storage room for keeping your bike safe.

All ok stayed many times cleanest hostel I've ever been in more like an hotel but your all in rooms together if you're traveling with family you can get exclusive suites very nice 👍

I thought the price was high for the amenities.

Proximity to train/bus was the beat feature. Ease of check-in/out (self) was nice. Bathrooms and bunk were clean and comfortable.

Checkin was too late, they asked us to leave bags and come back at 4pm.

Location is close to Basel SBB, there's good public connectivity, kitchen is big, cafe and community area were amazing.
