Although the building is made with high quality wood and concrete, the sound isolation isn’t great: we could hear people speaking in the corridor at night, and showering next to our room.

Incredibly chic and design, in a quiet area surrounded by nature. Loved the minimalist rooms and all the pleasant seating areas.

Would be nice if the lockers in the rooms worked with the same as the basement ones. The push operated showers were a bit finnecky, they don't stay on for long.

Lovely helpful staff, especially the late night staff was very responsive throughout my early morning arrival and last minute booking. Convenient lockers, good options for breakfast. Great location, close to centre and transport but nice and quiet, the little brook under the window was amazing to sleep to!

No good noise isolation with corridors, otherwise I honestly have no complaints as I've had a good experience !

Had the chance to get a single room and it was very confortable, I was travelling for business and it was very convenient. Wifi connection was excellent, breakfast good, staff helpful and friendly. Good isolation noise from outside !

Having not hostelled for a long time I was a bit unsure about what to do and how to do it. It's all fairly obvious I suppose but took a bit of working out eg just choose any bed and then make it early or late? Not knowing the rules or etiquette of a shared space me at a tiny bit of stress

Although we had booked a tek single-bed room, they gave us a room with double her. We had to go back and change it. During day time it may get noisy as there are many students staying. There was no hairdryer in the room.

We really liked the architecture and the minimalist style of the rooms. The sound of the water at the entrance is very calming.

Check-in is at 15.00, if you consider that the weather gets dark early in winter it is a bit late. But they let me drop my bags to the locked bicycle room for free. Breakfast was weak.

As an architect I absolutely felt in love of the hostel's design. The common area and reception make you feel like you are in a very luxury hotel. The lockers and sink are separeted from beds area and nobody disturb you when wardrobe and sink are being used. There are many showers and wc, you don't wait to use them and they are very clean.

I booked in and went to go out for a walk A group of disabled young people were booking in (which is nice that they could enjoy festival too )But one man keep walking off shouting very loud a name and repeating it every couple of seconds , he went up to lift, where 2 young's girls and their parents were, he started shouting out at them, the girls were terrified I came back from my walk and same man was walking round reception, touching the leaflets and shouting out all the time ! Went upstairs to get my book .. sat down in chair and he was still walking up and down, shouting .. so I didn't feel comfortable and sat on my bed... I came down again later and at dinner (which I didn't have' and he was still shouting out... I didn't like it.. I paid to have a break not to have un uncomfortable stay This man continued to shout, walk round reception, touch the leaflets all of my stay.. I sat in my room because of it He also wandered outside after I had gone out and I had to wait to make sure he went back in! I have nothing against people with disabilities, but this gentleman should have been supervised more ..it was not an enjoyable experience for me, or for the other people One of the ladies in the room asked the carer (who was very young) about him... he said " when he gets excited he is ok but can get upset and they try to relax him! Really, that's acceptable with young children in hostel.. no it's not .. shame because it ruined my trip!

It would be good to have the ability to chose whether to have mixed dorms or gender seperate dorms. Also, it appears there used to be a games room on level -1 but this is no longer open.

The location was great and the surroundings of the building were beautiful. Dinner/breakfast can be altered for people with allergies. The lockers were a great size.
