We were shocked by the breakfast. We have never in our life faced with “tropical” breakfast while traveling in Europe, Thailand, Africa and South America. My husband refused to come to breakfast during our 11 days stay. There was no eggs or bacon for him. Only for separate payment. Therefore he went in the closest cafe to pay there for his big breakfast.Also I was not aware that there is on WiFi on Cook Islands, and the price for 5GB is $45. But it is relevant for the whole Cook Islands not to the hotel itself. There are a lot of homeless big dogs there, one of them scared my daughter seriously.

We liked the nature and it was amazing that all World Cup rugby games were shown on the big screen! Also hotel provides you with snorkeling equipment and beach shoes. We had an amazing view on the ocean 🌊

Hiring a mini bus worked very well for us, as a party of 13, we managed to see and do all the things we wanted to do. The facilities were great, for our 6 grandchildren loved swimming in the pool and the beach. The breakfast worked well for us all, and good it lasted so long. Our two villas we rented worked out excellent for all the families and plenty of room for all.

Garden view room had a view of old doors that were blocking some renovations. We had to listen to electric saws and banging during the day when we wanted to chill by our room. Facilities are old and worn down, doors fell off our wardrobe. Free breakfast was mediocre and the cooked breakfast wasn't worth it.

Staff were amazing. Great vibe for the kids. If you are looking mainly for kids then it's worth it but the beach is rocky and unsafe in front of the resort.

Our island night reservation lost in the system, and our room bookings very separated and not much sense half our group got a beach front lovely modern luxury room 4 beds. The other half in a garden villa by the road for 4 pax also (but could’ve slept us all) However these do not have the luxury feel which was what we were looking for.

Kids club, location and pool side loungers, drink service great. Whales seemed so close. Use of snorkels etc awesome. We would stay again 😁

Great location for beach access and snorkelling! You will see plenty of whales passing through (September Visit). Staff were friendly, room was spacious and clean. Activities were easy to book and property was easy to move around.

Should have been advised that our room was upstairs and offered a porter to take our suitcases up. Friday 8th, 1/4 space taken up for the game in restaurant, then large tables at breakfast were reserved which meant families/we had to look for somewhere to sit outside, it was raining and slippery making it hazardous for people.

Front staff friendly, restaurant staff friendly and smiling, efficient to clean tables for next guests at breakfast. Enjoyed breakfast but pawpaw not topped up quickly enough. We asked for porter when departing and had Vio come and assist who was very friendly and helpful.

Perfect family holiday location! We stayed in a spacious beachfront villa and it had everything we needed. Lovely friendly and helpful staff, plenty to do, beautiful setting. Sunsets and passing whales were a bonus! Enjoyed lots of delicious meals at The Spaghetti House and the daily tropical breakfast kept us all going till lunch. Really enjoyed activities like watching ika mata be made and island dancing lesson. Excellent location only a short bus ride from airport and town. Excellent snorkeling on the reef that borders the resort. Spent a lot of time in the pool, playing tennis and using the big chess board.We'll be back one day! Thanks Edgewater for our best holiday yet.

It is a bit tired - some of the rooms could do with a make over.

Location - very accessible to the whole island. Bus stops at the Resort so really good. Staff were amazing.

Only downfall was the water temp in the shower, that was hit and miss, and assume it is due to others having a shower at the same time. Otherwise everything was perfect 👍

Check in took a while, maybe bad timing on our part. We arrived just after a big group all checking in seperately.

Staff were wonderful, facilities were amazing (slightly tired) but had everything we needed. Location was stunning, snorkelling was phenomenal. Dinner at the resort was very reasonably priced and cheaper than local options. Food was fantastic. Breakfast was great. Coffee was perfect.
