“The location is amazing, and our tiny cabin had wonderful views of the lake. Wonderful to fall asleep to the sound of the wind and the waves. Food in the restaurant was basic but good, and the atmosphere was very friendly and comfortable. A great place to order a bottle of wine and play a board game. We had a wonderful stay at Chalenko. We used the toaster oven in the cabin to heat up left-over pizza from the restaurant which worked out great. We also appreciated the tea pot and coffee available in the tiny cabin.”
“We were delighted with our accommodations at Chelenko Lodge. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious. The innovative and well-designed 'container units' were thoughtfully conceived - especially in consideration of the high winds that are 'normal' for this region. The sliding doors were good quality to keep those winds out. There was a small table with two chairs, plus tea/coffee amenities. Slightly cramped, but serviceable. The queen bed was comfortable and linens were fresh, clean and crisp. The small but cozy bathroom perfectly suited the entire suite and the shower water was plentiful and hot! Great to have the marvelous lake view!”
