“salamanca is a quiet town ca 250 km north of santiago. we visited the city for an overnight stay. the hotel is very basic, but adequately maintained. we missed the AC, given the high summer temperatures. the swimming pool was definitively a positive bonus. breakfast was included, but basic. mattresses en bathroom facilities were not the best, compared to other hotels we visited during our trip. on the other hand, the hotel is very reasonably priced, with friendly staff. everything in salamance is in walking distance from the hotel”
“Jorge and partner /wife were fabulous. Made us feel at home and even supplied us with fresh eggs, cake home made bread, water, jam, yoghurt, cheese and butter.
The location is off the beaten track but worth the drive. Facilities included spa , swimming pool and walks. Since we booked in winter we didnt use them but in summer can imagine would be great.
Cabana 1 was great, accommodating. Enjoyed the rest. Would visit again in late spring or summer.
