Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ChinaYou need to walk around 20 minutes to get to the downtown. Even you have taxi number, it's still a bit inconvenient.
Everything meets expectation! We enjoyed the beautiful view of snow mountain, sunset and starry sky. And at night things become so quite with warm light around. Facility is really helpful and responsive too. Even though our tour schedule was tight this time, we had good rest and wish to stay longer.

Quiet and relaxed. The staff was amazing. Walkable to town, but far enough away to not be surrounded by the hustle and bustle of town.

United KingdomLoved the whole place. The tent we stayed in was really clean, with beautiful beds and everything thought of. The kitchen was well stocked, and the onsite restaurant was good. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We paid a bit extra for a private bathroom, which I think was worth it, but everywhere looked good. It was really easy to walk to the centre of town, and there were great bars and restaurants once there. My brother had his motorbike, and there was safe parking available. The pool area was nice, with fanatic views of volcanoes and mountains. Loved it!

MalaysiaThe beds were super cosy and comfortable, bedding was great, and sleeping in the tents were surprisingly cool in contrast to the searing heat in the day. The breakfast materials provided were a plenty for two.

IndiaIt is about half an hours walk from the downtown which is difficult considering the high daytime and low nighttime temperatures.
The staff specially Manuella was always ready to help with a smile. Our tents were cleaned daily. The place has impressive sustainable practices.

The glamping tents were very cozy with comfy beds and lots of blankets. The views of the volcano were amazing and the pool was refreshing. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Atacama Glamp was one of the most fantastic sites I’ve stay is literally out of a nice movie. The host Bonito (the hotel dog) met us at the gate and I thought it was the cutest thing. Besides they have a WONDERFUL spa that’s worth the visit!!!!! I’d go back the absolutely anytime I’m visiting Atacama city! The communication with Mr Felipe, that I believe was the hotel manager, was amazing. He hook us up with taxis and tours and everything we needed was a WhatsApp message away!!! Thank you for everything.

United StatesWe arrived rather late, so I don't think we got a full lay of the land. I didn't know about the restaurant until a day or two before we left. Also, it seemed impossible to lock up our tent, but perhaps that was just something else we missed because of the late arrival. I was not so troubled by it that I tracked down the manager to ask him.
We rented a tent with two singles and a double bed, as well as a private bath. It was somewhat tight quarters, but my kids loved it. The beds were very comfortable, and it was nice to have our own bathroom. By far the best thing about this place, for us, was the number of Chilean families living there. There were kids everywhere, including J*, a resident five year old whose parents work for the camp. My kids spent hours playing with him.

NetherlandsThere was really only one big bathroom (we opted for shared bathroom). It was okay, but sometimes we had to wait a little bit.
The tents were beautiful and fully equipped with everything we needed. The views were amazing! We felt like it was an oasis of calm and relaxation. The staff was very friendly and helped us with everything we could need. The food was also good! The way breakfast is organized and the kitchens are great. We loved it here and would definately come again!

Many things. The rustic layout. The great service and amazing food from the kitchen. Every morning they drop off fresh bread to your door. Felipe and Bianca went out of their way to make sure you had everything you needed. The staff helped me arrange laundry service so I could pack light. They also helped me book some awesome local tours and get my bus back to Calama. I was able to buy a bottle of wine and sit up on the loft looking at the stars and mountains. It was an excellent stay!
