How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Limited choice at breakfast compared to other hotels of this standard we stayed in Chile and only served as of 7 a. m., air conditioning not working correctly, plastic bedsheets giving a constant feeling as if the bed had a built-in heater and making it impossible to sleep.

Bathrooms are a little small but adequate
The location is great. Across the street is the tallest building and the first 5 floors of this 64 floor building is a mall. The staff at hotel are so helpful and being a smaller hotel they have everything you could want. The rooftop pool with the city as a backdrop is breathtaking. We were going on a Princess cruise and for a fee the hotel has a car to take you right there with an advance notice. Breakfast was pretty good with many choices. Dinner outside on the lovely patio was also very good. Staff at front desk during the day are very helpful and go out of their way to help you. I highly recommend this hotel in a good and safe area for your stay in Santiago.

We stayed in the suite on the top floor and it was the perfect, comfortable end to one month of adventure and trekking in Patagonia before we flew home. The isolation up there was such a luxury. We loved the outdoor pool and sun lounge area as well, and the massive room was so comfortable. Hope to stay again on our next trip through Santiago!

Old air conditioning in the window wall. Then the curtains (from the ceiling to the floor) should be kept open if AC is on (which is the case in the summer). So the room in the morning was either too warm or too light.
Location is great, close to the Costanera center and several restaurants, shops, cafes. Clean and friendly staff.

Maybe invest in an espresso machine for breakfast? In the summer, rooms on the street side become very hot.

Everything was lovely, no Complaints
The location is not ideal for sightseeing In Santiago. Nice room, good breakfast and friendly helpful staff. It has a nice rooftop pool. Close to the business district and a short walk to restaurants and the hop on hop off bus tour. The hotel can give you tokens for a discount. They were very accommodating and let is keep our room until six pm so we could shower and get ready for our late flight home to the USA. I highly recommend them.

An idyllic hotel with sublime staff and top location. Highly recommended place if you’re visiting the city. From reception, to service team, they were all just amazing. Very helpful and friendly people who have done their best in their hands to make us feel like at home. The breakfast was of a wide range, the pool was always quiet, and the rooms kept at high standards -although perhaps they need a bit of an update-.

The breakfast lets the place down, I’ve had it several times since there is nowhere else local. Coffee is ok but overall pretty poor.
Location is great, easy to get to in a car and easy to walk into the city. No stress.

Cleaning lady threw out staff that belonged to me without having indication to be thrown out plus took Covina off the table first night which were my spare to buy water bottle. Tips are always happening at last day of stay not on first
Great breakfast, super friendly staff who was very helpful and supportive. The atmosphere was great and felt like home at friends
