We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

GermanyWindows facing the interior of the building, so it's best to bring a sleeping mask to block the light from the hallway
Clean room, friendly staff, AMAZING VIEW over Valparaíso from the rooftop terrace, nice neighbourhood with cafes, restaurants and art. Even though it is centrally located, the hotel was usually very quiet at night.

United KingdomThis is the perfect location for Valparaiso as you are super close to many bars and restaurants. It’s in a safe area and the big plus is the top floor dining area that overlooks the bay. You actually get a better view than the restaurant fauna that everybody seems to go to.

United StatesYou have to ring the bell to enter the building. It’s fine, just not my preference. The “breakfast” was coffee and tea, so don’t expect more than that.
I like how it’s more like a hotel with a common area. Each room has its own bathroom, which is small but gets the job done. The portable fan in the room was great for white noise to block out any street sounds. Staff was very helpful! Location was in the tourist area and felt safe.

SingaporeYou don't get a key for the front door so you have to ring the bell for the staff to let you in every time. My room window was internal, overlooking the staircase, so it was never really dark. Quite noisy and echoey at night too, with other guests coming back late. Nothing that earplugs and an eye mask couldn't solve though.
Excellent location, especially after you discover the ascensor Reina Victoria shortcut up the back of the hill! Very clean, room made up every day. Comfortable bed, super fast WiFi. Top floor kitchen area with free coffee and tea, fridge, microwave, etc and a place to sit with a great view over the city. Laid back atmosphere with really friendly staff, particularly the housekeeper, who repeatedly humoured my attempts to speak broken Spanish. And they let me check out late and keep my room all day when I had an overnight bus in the evening. Overall great value. Would stay again.

United KingdomAll of the rooms are themed around a musician/band which is a cool concept, but wish we could’ve chosen which one we stayed in as we sadly ended up in a MJ one - would’ve much preferred Rolling Stones or Queen! :)
Perfect central location - making it super easy to get around for all of the sightseeing. Beautiful views and lots of great cafes, restaurants, bars, etc nearby. Comfortable room and bed and great shower pressure (this can really vary as you travel through South America so was greatly appreciated). Staff are all super helpful and friendly. They let us keep our bags there after check-in whilst we did some more exploring on the last day.

New ZealandThe hotel is quite open in the middle, so when people come home late you can hear them really loudly, but i also found other guests staying there were not very considerate when it came to noise. Maybe the hotel can put up some signs asking people to keep the noise down after 11pm.
I love the music theme. The Hotel was in a good location, with good views from some of the rooms and from the rooftop. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel is modern and clean.

MexicoWe first stayed in a room with window on the inside, so ventilation and noise were not so great. Later they moved us to a room with window on the outside and a fantastic view (Bob Marley room), which was great, but on the street there were people playing music, and you can hear all people speaking inside the hotel.
Fantastic location for strolling the hills of Cerro Alegre (With its English and other European-style houses), eateries and miradores, elevator just outside the hotel. Also walkable to Av Alemania, the prison-turned cultural center and coastal areas. My gf leaft a sweater in the lounge area but could recover it in the evening at reception. Nice view from the eating/breakfast area and some of the rooms.
