Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesEverything about the Estancia Rilan absolutely blew us away. The property is just as beautiful as it is in the pictures. Communication via WhatsApp was smooth and helpful as we arrived to the hotel. The owners, despite speaking very little English (and our Spanish is extremely basic), had already made every effort to easily welcome us, including inviting a local guide with excellent English to have a drink with us and tell us about the beautiful area and things to do, tailored to our likes. The room was clean and the attention to detail is amazing--a guidebook with translations, heated towel rack, etc. Dinner and breakfast were always excellent, prepared by a great local restaurant and served in the cozy, beautiful bar/restaurant/relaxing area. We were there for part of our honeymoon and travel fairly widely, but this may have been our favorite place ever to stay.

I have been a platinum member with Marriott for 7 years and a diamond member with Hilton for 6 years. I have never ever stayed in a better property anywhere in the world. Extremely good taste in architectural and interior design. You cannot possibly beat the location on a sunny Chiloe day. Fantastic service and dining experience. I regret not having stayed longer, but that's a good reason to return. This is absolutely a property with real luxury-level caliber and worths every penny.
