    “This is a lovely place on the water. We had a large room with a balcony and nice views. The community areas are also very large and nicely decorated. The host didn't speak much English and we don't speak much Spanish, but Google Translate allowed us to communicate very well with her. She was very helpful in answering our questions. We were there for several days, so we were also able to have our laundry done which was nice on a long trip. Their are several very good restaurants within walking distance, including one she recommended.”

    “It was a delight to stay in this Palafito. Right from the initial whatsapp received from Vero asking about my arrival plans. She left everything ready for me to simply walk into my lovely room on arrival in the early evening, plus reserved me a table at Terraza 1326, an amazing restaurant 3 doors down from the Palafito which I was able to just walk to after an 8 hour bus journey to Castro. In the end my plans changed and I decided to stay an extra night and Vero was able to accomodate my changes with no issues. Sleeping with the curtains open and being woken by the sun in the morning as it shines on the Palafitos and lights up the bay was one of the highlights of my trip.”

    “We recently spent 5 weeks in Chile staying in a variety of types of accommodation. This was our favourite self-catering stay. The cabin spacious and in a fantastic location close to the beach and sea. There was a beautiful deck on which to enjoy sitting out. The washing machine was a fantastic facility for travellers. Best of all was the log burner and all the wood and kindling provided. In March when we were there, the weather had started to cool down, so it was great to be able to light the fire in the evenings.”

    “Great location. All attractions in Castro in walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was quite good. Parking, free, that felt secure in front of the hotel is a plus given its location.”
