How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Everything was perfect. We had a private room, which was cozy and comfortable. The staff was very friyand helpful and the kitchen area was clean and convenient. The location was also very nice with many dining and shopping options nearby. All that for a great rate! I would definitely stay here again!

One of the cleanest hostel I've been to in Chile. Stuff very friendly, cozy kitchen. The location is perfect. Totally recommend!

central location, comfortable bed, amazing staff ! close to center, the beds are practical, the place is always clean, the people working there are very helpful and always smiling, and you can rent equipment for torres del paine for good price. highly recommend this hostel !

Amazing place to stay, we couldn't have picked a better hostel for our stay. The place is cozy and beautiful inside, very close to the bus station and to the city center. It is located in a very quiet area, although you can find anything you want around. The owner and the staff working are incredibly helpful and kind! They have also things that you can rent for your tours and hikes, in very good prices and quality. The beds in the dorm were very comfortable and met my expectations completely. Thank you for this great experience, I will definitely stay again in this hostel!

- upper bunk bed is so close to the ceiling that I could not comfortably sit on the bed - the patio could be made nicer

Only the room are to small to fit 6 people and the ceiling are so close to the bunk bed that is quite though going up to upper the bed

Beds were really clean and comfy! whole property is kept clean and looked after and is cleaned everyday. The two guys who run the hostel are both very friendly and help and organised a very last minute tour for me. Would highly recommend this place.

everything was good and smooth
Hostal is very comfortable and Hector at the reception was very helpful. it’s has a nice cute reception with good vibes (music, decoration, etc.) Hot water was reliable and they even have outlets in the room that doesn’t need adaptors which is a nice detail to have. Location is good (approx 10-15min walk from the bus terminal) and right beside a local park.

We had a room for 2 with private bathroom. It was slightly on the small side, but perfectly OK.
Lovely little hostel, super helpful and friendly staff, great location and good value for money. Good kitchen and sitting area.

shower drains seem to back up with water at times, but this happens at many hostels.
Juan & Héctor were very helpful with gear advice, rentals, and Puerto Natales info! They also secured my things while I was hiking the O and this was helpful!

Fantastic location in the middle of bus terminal and promenade, just in center of the city with few steps from main streets. Very helpful and supportive staff. All place is nice arranged and you can just feel the climate of Patagonia with all of these wooden walls and spacious space. Really comfortable bed and whole area is superb clean. Thank you Hector and Juan, I will be back :)

thin walls, you could hear all that's happening outside your room. But it was quiet in the night (after 10 PM)
very friendly and engaged staff, absolutely charming, speaking very good English when needed and letting you practice your Spanish when you want to. Always smiling and ready to talk and help but not intrusive. Just perfect! very nicely arranged and cozy kitchen, that was pleasurable to be in. well-equipped which is not a common thing in hostels. free tea, drinkable, filtered water. big window in our room, made it very bright and nice to be in. the temperature was nice. very hot water in shower PERFECT place, we would love to come and stay longer!

As with all hostels there is sound from surrounding rooms/common areas - this is the only reason we've not given it a 10!
This hostel is fantastic! The cleanest hostel we've ever stayed in and the owners are great. Friendly, full of advice on things to do around the area (including the Torres hikes) and they really make you feel at home. We rented sleeping bags and trekking poles from them too for the W trek - good value and quality gear. We would definitely stay here again.

Staff was amazingly nice. Also the bed and the building was so nice. Location is good, could be better but still good. When I m back in Puerto Natales, I am going to stay here again.

Absolutely amazing! Everything was perfect. the hostel is lovely, very warm and friendly. Showers are hot instantaneously ! everywhere is very clean. you have mooore than you need to cook in the kitchen (including oil, hot water, spices etc..) and the rooms are very well designed as well. a lot of room and hooks to hang literally everything you have. lockers are lateral on the floor so it is really easy to access your backpack. And the staff were so helpful too! I booked 2 tours with them instead of going to the town and knock door by door. muchas gracias Hector ! keep the good work going ✌️
