We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

CameroonThe room we were given was a bed sit (sleeping zone with a wash hand basin wash fitted against doors into shower & toilet forcing guests to live with odor from toilet… all of this separates by a waist high multipurpose divider/storage unit/wardrobe/safe area etc … with a TV screen so small, we all decided not to use it. When we complained to the staff at reception about our dissatisfaction with the lack of comfort/ inconveniencing layout of our room, we were told all room at the hotel have the same design. Having been guests at several hotels for less than what we paid, we conclude that this is NOT what we expected in Douala at +160.000 cfa described as a standard bedroom for 2 guests.

Equatorial GuineaThere were cocroaches in the window curtain of my room (213). I had to change room and in the new room (217), there was no fridge. Unfortunately, this is my second experience in an Onomo Hotel after 2018 experience in Libreville. (cocroaches, uncomfortable bed, very bad food) Their cleaning system has to be reviewed....

BelgiumI personally found the interior design too dark with the black walls. Plastic gloves were required (and provided) to get breakfast at the buffet, but hygiene can be respected without having to waste more plastic.. If staff are required to wear masks, than visitors should do the same. Very few people were wearing masks.
Nice staff, very professional. I forgot my phone in my room and they kept it a few days until I came back to town. Location is great as well!
