When we arrived, we had a warm welcome with a cup of tea. The staff is really friendly, and they speak English very well. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a hotel with greater hospitality!

“An amazing stay in central Pingyao Old Town. The hotel is very stylishly decorated (in contrast to many other cheesy ones in Pingyao. The room is spacious and the courtyard is nice and quiet. The breakfast is mostly homemade and delicious. The staff is super friendly and attentive. They treated us with tea upon arrival, then afternoon tea. They even remember we preferred whole meal bread from the previous day’s breakfast. It’s not a cheap place (given the general price level in China) but it’s a very memorable experience.”
