The location is very close to bus stops from either Guilin West or North train stations. It is also within walking distance to a few major sites. Some buses also stop close to the sites, for $2 Chinese Yuan per person, it is a very good deal. Need to have exact change for the bus ride. Some older bus do not have the means for electronic payment. We stayed in two different rooms, River view with tatami and deluxe family room. Both were very good rooms, excellent water pressure and rain shower was a delight! The room facing the River was a bit noisy during early evening but was not a problem later in the night, when all activities in the nearby park finished and participants dispersed. The deluxe family room, which was facing the inner alley, was very quiet. We did not have breakfast included with the room, but nearby are eateries and a very good bakery. A supermarket is also nearby. We also appreciate the excellent and thorough information provided by the hotel regarding how to get to the hotel from whatever mode of transportation one is taking.

A bit far from the city centre - I would say 20 min walking

I don’t know if I have ever given a 10/10, but this place definately is a highlight! Went here twice. Both times I had a spacious and clean room (also in nice design). Bathroom is big with a great shower and hot water with good pressure. The staff is fabulous, speaks well English and can help with providing information on. Location is very quiet and easy to find. Close to the train station.

Very welcoming staff and very willing to help us. We arrived before the check in time and they still gave us the room first without asking us for any surcharge! The next day they also allowed us to have breakfast in advance to 06:00 in the morning. Clean and cosy room! Highly recommended

They can consider adding mini-fridges to the rooms, I think it'll be a great quality of life improvement! One of the beds in one of the rooms was also creaking a lot when the person laying on it moves even a little bit. The river view wasn't spectacular, largely blocked by trees.

The hotel staff were all extremely friendly and helpful! The rooms were clean and tidy, and I loved its looks/vibe.

There's not many hooks or racks in toilet to put our clothes. A few will be useful.

The big nice room with pretty view of the river was prefect for the 3 of us. Service staff all very friendly and helpful. We had lots of options for breakfast and the coffee was excellent. Very clean.

We were there in winter in the off season were it was quite cold. Unfortunately the room was only heated with the aircon which left the room quite cold.

The property is located really nicely next to one of the river arms and close to the centre. It is close to the main street but off on a side street and therefore very quiet. Staff was also very helpful.

They asked us in the check in what type of breakfast and at what time do we wanted to be served. In our opinion that’s something we can’t answer because we don’t know at what time we’ll wake up when we are traveling on holidays. The owner understood perfectly and let us decide later or next day in the morning. When we woke up and went downstairs to order the breakfast, the guy that served them was having his own breakfast and told us that first he would eat his and then start preparing ours. It was 9am and the breakfast was served from 7am. It was kind of weird but not a big problem at all, just something to point out.

The room with the terrace and the bathtub outside to have a warm bath after sunset. The owner was super friendly abd helpful with us.

The receptionists and owner (David) were very helpful. An accident happened during our stay in Guilin, and the hotel provided all the help for us to solve it. David contacted us prior our trip making sure everything goes well when we checked in. I truly appreciate the care and help that David and the receptionists given to us.

My room got quite cold (I was there in December), because the windows didn't close properly and there was no heating.

The people working at the reception were really nice and helpful. They helped me navigate the busses and brought me to the place I could buy a sim card. Eveb though some of them didn't speak English, they were patient trying to help me using a translation app.
