Overall okay. It is actually a hostel, not a hotel. We had reserved one triple room, but we got two double rooms, because the reception clerk saw our big suitcases and admitted that there is not enough space for them in the room. The rooms are very very small, they are OK for not more than just one person. The english speaking staff was a very big plus for us, they were kind and helpful. There was dust on some furniture, on the joinery and the bathroom needed more cleaning. The view from the one room was terrible, facing rooftops of buildings, similar to those in a ghetto. The location is good, near to a metro station. But the street where the hostel is located is a little strange with no lighting.

The staff were so helpful e.g. coming out with us to taxis they had booked to make sure the taxi driver knew exactly where we needed to go. The tour booking was made so easy. Staff spoke good English which really helped. They advised us on where to go to have an amazing Peking Opera experience. They really went the extra mile. The hotel was quiet. Room cleaning was very good with fresh bottled water every day. Hotel location was great for the subway.

Our stay there was perfect. I would really recommend this place. The staff couldnt be more helpful with us, they arranged us a private tour to the Great Wall during Golden Week just the night before. The location is very centric and in a great and peaceful neighbourhood. Our room was simple but with everything we could need. If I have the chance I would definitely choose this hotel again.

Extremely helpful reception, even assisted to book our slots for the morning sunrise flag rising ceremony at TianAnMen Square. The reception can also lent you the Yikatung subway transit cards thru out your stay. Super nice value added service. Highly recommended place to stay, which is practically so nearby to 2 subway lines.

Location was very confusing to find so definitely use the map they provide.. room was a little dirty for the price paid I think.

Staff here were super helpful, even gave out metro cards with pre loaded money on them so you didn’t have to try buy a card. Great location with heaps of places to eat nearby.

Nothing really to complain about

The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. They loaned me a local transportation card for my use during my stay so I did not have to buy one myself. Also they let me use the property washing machine to wash my clothes for free. I can warmly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay close to the Forbidden City.

2 mins away from 2 different metro stations, surrounded by restaurants and bars but also just behind a characteristic hutong. The highlight of my stay were Tony and Mumu, absolutely helpful, kind, caring and fluent in English.

The location is do convenient to go to anywhere ! It is really close to the central Beijing and subway ! A lot of restaurants nearby ! The room is clean and simple . Heating during shower is great . Free coffee is tasty ! The front desk assistances are very friendly and helpful providing necessary information! I enjoyed the stay there !

The internet connection on the second floor is not the best but it doesn't really matter at all because you can go to the first floor and stay in the lounge they have in the reception

The receptions staff speak full English (apart from the night staff) and were super friendly and helpful. They helped us book a taxi a few times and always gave us new fresh water bottles when they saw us refilling our reusable bottles

I stayed in two different rooms during my stay, because I booked it at my arrival and my departure. The first room was quite big, the second a bit smaller. I have to say that the second room smelled of cigarrettes and was quite noisy, since there was a chinese family with 2 or 3 kids enjoying themselves all over the hostel. This lack of respect and education is not the hostels fault, but maybe they could implement some basic rules of coexistence between westerners and locals.

The location is great. It has a metro station 5 minutes away (which in Beijing is really close). The reception personal was quite helpful.
