Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

SingaporeAir conditioning. No air con after midnight. Could not get to sleep well. Electricity stop during the night. Next day made a complaint. Counter staff very accommodating and understanding. Gave us fan. Letter from management that the air conditioning level is good when they investigate during the day. We have no issue of the air conditioning before midnight. It was cold before midnight. So we have no intention to revisit this hotel. Our friend feedback in Mar2024 also about the air conditioning issue. Despite the fan we didn't have good night sleep for the next 2 nights of our stay. As tourist we need good rest after long day. Very disappointing.
Buffet breakfast price for customers is reasonable. Food varieties acceptable.

United Kingdomhotel staff asked for a cap for the swimming pool and this was available only for cost. the explanation that i have been given was that Shanghai authorities request this. I challenge this because I stayed in another similar hotel 2 days before and they did not ask me to wear a cap for swimming. Btw I am bold, no hair at all, so absolutely no reason to put the cap on. Such an excellent hotel should have single use caps, people do not carry swimming caps with them usually.

United KingdomThe staff at the breakfast restaurant wiped all the table dirt straight on the floor, it’s hardly well trained as a five star hotel. Hotel does not hoover the floor unless the guest require to do so. I’ve only find out after seeing big fluff dusts floating in my corridor for three days and wondered how come the house keeper do not see it at all. When I spoke to the reception I was told that guests had to require the service for the room to vacuum cleaned.
The room is very spacious, staff are very helpful and courteous. Superb location and very quite.

PhilippinesThey turn off the Aircon in the middle of the night to cut costs. This caused me and my kids to have only 5 hours of sleep a day as we would wake up when the room became uncomfortably warm. ( See photo of our room temp at night ). It was the hotel maintenance engineer who slipped and told us its because they turn the central Aircon off in the middle of the night . We confronted the hotel manager about this. She said it was due to cost cutting measures and she can’t do much about it and that all hotels do it in November . But I asked my friend who booked another cheaper hotel , she said her hotel never shut off their Aircon during their entire stay . It was an unusually hot November . It reached 23 to 28 degrees outside.
