We stayed here multiple times. The King Junior suit is in corner of the building with sweeping view of Dalian, and night view is great.

Nothing really.

Room was well cleaned everyday, very spacious and giant bay windows my kid enjoy to sit there with cushion to read. Full size desk certainly helps with need to work. Location is well placed, lots of restaurants nearby, city shopping centers are less than 10min walk away. All the staff are working really hard to make our stay enjoyable.

In my opinion, the shower didn't function properly, and the room appeared dated with somewhat outdated furniture. However, this is a minor issue in the overall experience.

It was a decent experience, although the hotel appears to be a bit dated. The furnishings in the room seemed old, but the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, although there were some issues with the shower. On the bright side, the dining buffet was enjoyable, offering a wide variety of food options.

The staff members were very kind and accommodating. Communicating with the staff in English was smooth and straightforward. Although the room wasn’t exceptionally spotless, all the staffs including those in buffet restaurant work hard to accommodate me. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who’s planning to enjoy the city of Dalian.

The smoking & some staff not friendly & ignorant, the rooms stink of smoke this should not be allowed inside hotels. Breakfast could be a lot better, hit good is supposed to be hot not cold eggs bacon sausages ect sitting cold for long time.

All the staffs are wonderful. From the moment when Brynn checked us in, to being checked out by Mu, everyone’s been so warm and friendly. The room we had also have a beautiful view of the Dalian port.

As mentioned in my other review, all the staff I’ve met have been extremely professional and kind. Particularly, Mr Amber Liu and Mr Yong Zhang from the concierge, and Ms Cao and other housekeeping staff who kept my room in order everyday for this lengthy stay. The infection control cautions in place have made me feel quite safe, which I think is a plus during the ongoing crisis/pandemic. The choices for food at breakfast are plenty, although probably not the place to be if you are a person whose mornings depend on a proper Full English like me.

One incident happened on the second last day of my stay. I got a phone call from the reception/front desk staff notifying me that a visitor was here to see me, when I was not expecting any. After I firmly declined to give permission to someone of a name I have never heard of to come upstairs - I still had a stranger (male, not escorted) at my door ringing my doorbell 5 minutes later. To say that it gave me a fright would be an understatement, as a female solo traveller staying at a hotel with lift access supposedly secured with key cards. I am not so sure why a visitor was still allowed to the floor I was staying at after such permission sought by the front desk had been clearly rejected by me. This person eventually left the corridor, and he might well be a genuine visitor of another guest who just remembered the room number wrong, but it did shock me a little that day. I do hope it won’t happen again to any other guest(s) in the future.

The location would be perfect for first-time visitors to Dalian like myself, local amenities all within a stone’s throw away from the hotel itself (even taking into consideration the scale of Chinese cities). All the staff I’ve met have been welcoming, kind and keen to help. Mr Amber Liu and Mr Yong Zhang from the concierge were both of great help for my (very late) arrival and departure, and all other members were always there to answer my millions of questions I had about going out and about in the city. Old school or not, the pocket-sized map has been a lovely little addition to my adventures in town. I am planing my next trip to Dalian already, and I will without a doubt, be staying with IC Dalian again.
