connecting room was not arranged as per communication, during my stay, hotel was under renovation and network was down. room adjustment cannot be made on the spot during check in and had to wait 1 day. staff did his best to get us connecting rooms. but still, my 4 other family members were arranged on separate floors. i had requested for the same floor during booking. otherwise the stay is good.

There was a metallic strip on the floor between the bedroom and bathroom, that posed a continuous risk of injury and discomfort. This should not exist within the accommodation and is important for the hotel to promptly address and remove this strip to prevent any serious injuries to guests.

Breakfast was delicious with a wonderful selection but the queue on the morning of 25 December was far too long and people had to wait for up to 20mins to be seated. By that time it was close to 11am (closing) and certain items on the menu were not available, this was not a good standard for a hotel of your rating.

Breakfast was delicious with a wonderful selection. The tradition at 6pm every evening makes it a special place and the hot spring pool wonderful.

The bed was Ok, but a little soft. A minor issue!

Firstly, the staff. Everyone was very polite, knowledgeable and helpful. They made us feel welcome, cared for, and part of a St. Regis ‘family’. Second, the building itself. It has a 90s Hollywood movie glamour feel (Home Alone!). Their Christmas decorations were warm and festive, the Park bar was classy and the bar staff were both excellent, the lobby lounge was welcoming and the afternoon tea is delicious. The bedroom was spacious and had character. Finally, the food (and in particular the breakfast) was very good.

I do feel their commitment to privacy was a bit too strict. For example, when I ordered room service they would call me to ensure that they could deliver it because my Do Not Disturb sign was on. I felt this was a bit overboard as I obviously wanted my meal delivered and was waiting for it; there was really no need to call and ask for permission to ring the doorbell for something I was expecting. Otherwise, I have no complaints. The rest of my stay was pleasant.

I quite enjoyed the selection at breakfast; there was a good balance between Chinese and Western cuisine. In addition, my room was very comfortable and the bathroom and room service were all exceptional. All the staff were very accommodating and did everything they could to make my stay pleasant. I would stay here again for sure.

One of the best stays of my life and that was thanks to Neil and his team at the St Regis. It was my first time visiting China and I cannot wait to come back. The team went above and beyond, booked great restaurants so I was able to try the local food, organised tours with very experienced guides who spoke fluent English. Indeed, my tour with Angie was the highlight of my trip. I had such a short time in Beijing but because of her skill we were able to pack all the major sights in. It's quite an intense experience going on a private tour due to the 1:1 nature but I was in great hands with Angie. She was extremely knowledgeable, brought all the history and legends of the Chinese dynasties to life and above all it was so much fun! At the end of the tour and my trip I was incredibly sad to leave Beijing and I credit that to the phenomenal hospitality of Neil and the team at the St Regis. Thank you all for such a warm welcome and amazing hospitality.

English skills of front desk not as great as they used to be - understandable.

This hotel has made it through Covid and lack of foreign visitors utterly unscathed. Pristine as ever and showing no signs of aging. Just utter luxury.

Received the room service card at check out day. As mentioned that I should have a welcome drinks, but I didn’t get it. The electronic plug which next to the bed is non-functional.
