Set in the quiet part of town and yet only a short Didi drive away from the hustle bustle of the center, this lodge is well presented with traditional furniture and fixtures exuding a tranquil atmosphere. A good place to relax and yet a convenient location as the base for day trips into the serene landscape of the surrounding areas. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful with advising and organizing activities. They even loaned us bikes and cycled with us to a nearby location for sunset photo-op. Meals were delicious, rooms spacious and comfortable, great views from upper level rooms. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend this place to anyone contemplating staying at Yangshuo.

this hotel is situated out of the city which is great as you don’t have the noise etc. and it’s still easy to go into town. they can arrange everything, and are very friendly. they speak English well, which is great. the interior is nice and the rooms are good. any questions just ask the staff. all kind of excursions can be arranged by them.

The staff was so helpful: they helped us organise every one of our excursions and gave us advice. Food was good (both breakfast and dinner), and rooms were clean and comfortable. Perfect place to go for an easy, hassle free trip in Yangshuo.

The place was very nice and clean. We were next to the river, in the middle of the mountains but not too far from the city. The staff was very nice and helpful! They recommend us activities, helped us book tickets, e-bikes and drivers. Thank you for the nice stay.

We loved it. Great vibe in nature. It was a great place to relax when traveling through China. Would highly recommend it for friends to stay here. Great food! Also had a massage in the room! Very easy to arrange a private driver and tours via the hotel!

The hotel is in a good location. Away from the noise and bustle of Yangshuo town but a short Didi ride into town. We had a great view from our balcony that lit up with the Sanjuie Liu show at night. The staff were all really helpful and friendly. Best noodle breakfast of our trip so far. The walk into town isn't great but a Didi is only 12-14 Yuan so don't bother. It is also convenient for the Sanjuie Liu show. The hotel sorted out tickets and organised transport for all the guests who wanted to go.

Away from the crowds and noise of Yangshuo but within easy reach of the local sights, this boutique hotel has everything you could want and more. The rooms were spacious and the staff was super helpful and friendly. Definitely recommended

Everything. A highly recommended and totally enchanting place in which to spend time in this fascinating part of China. Large well-equipped rooms with modern bathrooms, large comfortable beds and wonderful views from the rooms and balconies. The English speaking staff were keen to do everything they could in order to make sure our stay was enjoyable and comfortable. There was always an English speaker available. They accommodated all our needs including carefully organising trips from the hotel door, including the incredible river cruise. Delicious Chinese and western meals are available and the staff are flexible in arranging food around the day trips. This hotel and its staff deserve the highest recommendation. Thank you to all of them for our wonderful holiday

The hotel was on repair works but they arranged a stay for us at Bamboo leaf hotel, the stay was perfect, the hotel have free shuttle to Yangshuo downtown also you can rent scooters for all day. Staff were always kind and respectful!

The River Lodge hotel is a good choice when visiting Yangshuo for some relaxing days. The location is a bit separated from the crowded areas which makes the place very quiet. One day we had our lunch at the hotel restaurant and the beer fish which is an speciality from Yangshuo was delicious. The bed is comfortable and the staff is very kind, they helped us showing us in the map the best places to visit. We rented the ebike at the hotel which is very convenient. We would repeat.

Everything was fine. Clean wide room, with river view, far from noisy yangshuo town centre, but since they provide electric scooter rental, it was easy to get around and explore the unique landscape. Friendly and helpful staff, will help you to define your itinerary and book transportation for you. Recommended.

Love the river view from the hotel and there is a big balcony that we could let in the fresh air. We also love that it's quiet and away fr the hustle and bustle of the city. Air is fresh here, we moved here from another hotel because air was bad in the other hotel due to lotsa smokers. Excellent customers service fr staffs who speak good English. They were friendly and helpful to our needs.

Location was very quiet which we loved but no transport options to get into town except for taxi or rent a scooter. Was fine for us but some people might find it inconvenient.

This is not really a downside but the hotel is little outside city. Its in a nice and calm area with beautiful nature from where you can get to the city in 10 minutes by car. But if you prefer being in the city center this could be a downside.

All staff spoke really good englisg and were able to arrange us transfers when arriving and leaving the city. The room itself was very spacious and clean. No complaints.

It’s a little bit off the beaten path, so travellers are more reliant on taxis and rental bikes and scooters. The staff are very accommodating and proactive in arranging transportation.

A stunning view of the Li River, with easy access to the water. Our room was clean and well taken care of. The pool was perfect for cooling off after a day of exploration.
