The rooms do not have air conditioning so keep in mind during hot periods of travel.

Friendly staff and very nice selection for breakfast. Rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable. Proximity to a nice nature trail and pub is a nice touch.

I had to wait 30 minutes for my room even though it was ready, just because I arrived a bit earlier. Poor heat insulation, very hot inside during summer days and no air conditioning.

Breakfast was very simple, l would say boring. Very to no vegan options. Parking muss be payed all though the hotel has a huge parking .. and theres no other options for parking the car.. also is not like you can reach the hotel by foot from the town center cause it is in the middle of nowhere..

The location is in the forest, very isolated from the small town. Car needed to move around. However beautiful location for relaxing. The hotel offers a lot of entertainment facilities like Gym, swimming pool, yoga classes, sauna.. Very friendly staff. The rooms are big with a comfortable balcony.

The location of the hotel was in a kinda lost forest and pretty uphill till the entrance.

I liked the friendliness of the staff and professionalism. The room was clean and the breakfast tasty!

The hotel isn't what it used to be. It's way too expensive for what they are offering. Parking is now not free anymore, the breakfast area is lacking with bread that isn't fresh. They don't refill, the housekeeping barely cleans and only gives new towels, the WiFi isn't working in the evenings. The rooms don't have airco and they smell faintly of old furniture. You pay a lot of money for a hotel that isn't serving.

The area in Sauerland is a beautiful area to explore for activities and nature.

The rooms were a small oven, fortunately it was a cool night so we were able to have our patio door open, but we still woke up with damp sweaty pillows. This has been noted in other reviews as well, it is a large concrete building with no AC in the rooms. Fridge in the room seemed to only serve the purpose of heating the room further and not cooling contents.

The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was decent and varied. Staff were friendly and helpful when available; varied but vibrant artwork on the walls. Pool room, a snug area and other touches looked nice as well albeit we didn't use them.

Beds were too soft, my back suffered. Very old and outdated interior and building. Dirty and spiderwebs behind the curtains. The sound of flushing toilets and baths in our bathroom. Restaurant couldnt manage it. Took ages for everything including warm white wine and things that couldnt be ordered. Apologies were apparently difficult to give.

Location in a forrest. Reasonable breakfast. Nothing else.

The stuff at the reception especially the lady who was represented as Manager was absolutely disorganized. English speaking almost impossible. The service at restaurant the worse we had ever. One of the waiters were arrogant and disrespectful towards our group. We were not able to order dinner from the menu list! Explanation was: ‘Not enough staff’. We had to get food from the buffet which was 70% empty. The second evening we were NOT ABLE to have dinner at all at 21:00 o’clock, as we were told that restaurant is closed, regardless to the people in the restaurant who were taking their dinner at this time. The rooms are poorly designed and in the bathroom you can’t find ‘shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc.’ All that at 4 stars Resort Hotel! Really? You should be ashamed of the service you give to your guests! Never again at your place!

The bed was not comfortable for us both. They call themselves resort hotels yet the swimming pool and spa ist only open until 9 pm. Despite Corona and whatever other reasons they give this is just not acceptable, Cheaper 1 and 2 star hotels have better timings and services. Having travelled worldwide during Corona for work( I am a doctor) have been to hotels that keep pools open on request, this was not the case here.

Room, was clean, ample parking available, Prompt reception staff, good breakfast.
