It’s an old building, so you can expect to hear noise, but it was quiet by 11pm at the latest. It would be nice if the downstairs area was more cozy to hang out and spend time in since the glass roof is so beautiful.

The location is great, the space is pretty comfortable and clean, the hot water and pressure in the shower is amazing. The breakfast is delicious and the coffee was so nice to have every morning. The best part is the staff. Very accommodating and friendly and easy to talk to. The common areas upstairs are very cozy.

This hostel is centrally located in the la Candelaria district. Easy to walk to endless restaurants, bars, shops, and attractions. We stayed in a private room, and it was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The common spaces were great as well - tables, chairs, outdoor patio etc. - lots of room to sit peacefully (read, work, daydream) or be social with other guests and staff. Overall, great value!

It was a bit loud. On the one hand because our room was right next to the terrace and on the other hand because guests kept ringing at the door because there was no key for the outside door. A shelf in the bathroom would be good and a shelf for clothes too.

The location is perfect. The room was a pleasant size and very clean. The breakfast was delicious and you can sit outside on the roof terrace. All employees are very helpful and can always be reached immediately, at least by email or text message.

DO NOT STAY DOWNSTAIRS!!! For whatever godforsaken reason, the hostel cannot afford a new front door and lock! It is an absolute shame as the main issue with most of the reviews indicates NOISE, which is to say that their locking mechanism on their front entrance door creates a VIOLENT SLAMMING SOUND every single time, day or night, morning & evening when it opens and closes. If the property owners would only read the reviews, a simple solution to their ongoing problem could be solved in an instance; get a new lock and front door already! I am world traveler and have stayed in some of the most humble accommodations, this place is a great value, however, THEY MUST FIX THEIR NOISE PROBLEM! We stayed in Bogota for our last night in Colombia and it was a jarring experience to say the least even with earplugs. While this review may sound harsh, hah, pun intended, it is merely to point out the obvious to both travelers and the property owners alike. Fix the issue and you won’t hear anymore similar reviews — I would imagine!

The architecture and retrofitting of the old building gives this place some charm. The location is good, but you should be vigilante at night with where you go exploring. The staff is super helpful, kind, and welcoming! The rooms are comfortable and simple. The walls, windows, and wood beams tells a story of a different era!

The staff (Josué, Carlos and Lucas) were all very friendly and helpful. They shared tips on activities, food/restaurants and even helped when I got ill one day. The WiFi is good and the roof terraces a nice place to hang out at evenings.

Had an individual room in the main courtyard, so a little noisy and the white curtains are see through at night if the light is on, so I rigged up my own curtains for privacy.

The fridge in the kitchen was not working which is a bummer if you like to cook. The breakfast was really boring. I got toast with butter, marmalade and raw scrambled eggs every morning with not variety whatsoever. There is also no vegan option, although you could eat toast with marmalade, of course (not sure though whether it is vegan there). The breakfast was only available after 8am, which is not handy if you leave early for a day trip. There is also not a good room to casually hang out at the Hostel. Additionally, some of the staff were occupying the living/dining room all day listening to music or watching movies and not paying attention to anything at all. Additionally, I would like to add that I had to pay more for some days than travelers who spontaneously went to the hostel at the same day and asked for a room. (Short info: I extended my stay and booked the additional days directly via the Hostel so no fees for booking.com can explain the price difference here).

I liked the good location as well as Carlos, who is really sympathic and with whom I had a nice chat! The other guests were really nice, too, and the staff was so kind to book a bicycle tour for me. Also, extending my stay wasn't an issue at all and I was able to move out quite spontaneously. The bathrooms were cleaned frequently and I got a new towel approximatively every three days. The hostel has a 24-hours reception which is handy if you come back from a party late at night, for example, because they can open the front door for you. There is a camera at the front door to make sure that no strangers can enter, thus giving you a good feeling about the security there. They also have lockers although you need to buy your own lock. Our bedroom was by the entrance so it was pretty noisy which was a shame, otherwise we liked the hostel.

Really good location, we could walk to everywhere we wanted to go and there were plenty of restaurants closeby. The staff were great, giving us lots of recommendations for things to do.
