Stayed there a few years ago, rooms are dated, need up date beyond a paint job. Another hostel/hotel is next door, very loud music, actually difficult to sleep, obviously this is beyond Casa Villas control

Room could have been cleaner. Ceiling fan was very dusty/dirty. Some marks on the bedding. Was a bit noisy and could hear pool area.

The price was good and the room was comfortable. Location convenient for Getsemani.

The Wi-Fi was patchy and we could lose signal often; however when it worked, it worked quite well! You can also hear a lot in the corridors in the morning if there are people talking, but at night it was very quiet and peaceful!

This property really exceeded our expectations in terms of value for money. The room we had (number 8) was a good size with two comfortable double beds and a shower with good water pressure and hot water. The staff were so helpful - they cleaned our room everyday and provided us with fresh towels daily. The pool is a bit small but just perfect to cool down from the intense Cartagena heat! Breakfast was also super tasty and prepared fresh every morning. The AC was also brilliant to help us cool down.

It was a bit confused the breakfast attention since the person wasn’t there, there is not signals saying wait for someone or serve yourself, or maybe a bell to let the person on charge know that there is a client waiting.

Quiet and nice place, located in a really good zone. The coffee store at the corner is amazing! Close to Castillo de San Felipe, you can go there by walking…

No A/C in bathroom, no hot water, beds weren’t super comfortable, no refrigerator, but nothing out of the ordinary for the area and wouldn’t deter us from staying again.

The bedsheets weren’t clean and the room was tiny. At some point the shower and tab water stopped working.

Some linens were stained upon arrival which felt icky but request to change out was easy & friendly.

Awesome location in Getsemani neighborhood & 5 minute walk to walled city. Plenty of food options from fried arepas + fresh cut mango street food to healthy cafes to comida típica. As a family we were back to hotel by 9 PM every night but we always felt safe wandering around this area. 15 minute walk to Castillo de San Felipe also. Staff were WONDERFUL! Great value.

There is no elevator so if you have big and heavy luggages you’ll have to use stairs. The staff helped us bring it up to our room but for checkout we brought it down ourselves.

Location was in Getsemani and close to the Old City. Very accessible and walkable to the main attractions. Staff was very nice. I like that the main door was locked to the outside so security was good. The place is very simple so if you’re not looking for a fancy accommodation this place works. It was clean everything worked in our room. Didn’t get to try the breakfast but it was a plus to have it available.

Unfortunately they are very strict with extra charges for everything. Wouldn't let a friend in to use the empty pool unless paying 100k etc

I had a great room with fan, air con etc. Pool is nice Was very simple to extend extra nights and also to register guests. As long as you cough up the cash Breakfast Location I stayed an extra 2 or 3 nights due to convenience

Breakfast could have been better.

I loved the staff! They were so gracious and kind. They went up and beyond to accommodate us. We loved that it was a smaller hotel. We loved the rooftop pool and terrace. the location of the hotel was perfect. walking distance from everywhere. We felt completely safe and comfortable in the hotel and around town. Thank you to all of them for an amazing trip!!

No place to shelter from the scorching sun by the pool area. Sunbeds are not by the pool but on a terrace. Umbrellas are much needed. We had an issue with the tour agency that the hotel recommends. Some friends booked a tour with Carlos Alexander, and he cancelled the tour the night before at 7pm. We had to pressure the guy (and someone at the hotel to call him and help us) to recover the money paid. It was a bit of an ordeal. My friends were leaving the day after the tour so they had to find something last minute... not ideal as they had booked that tour 2 days in advance, and it wasn't cheap. They also needed the money to book another activity. Got the cash at about 11pm. I went on a tour with this agency as well and was offered a stay at a beach club, but the place wasn't very nice. It was rather disappointing.

We love the location, breakfast was nice, staff were friendly. Even if the street is noisy, you barely hear it when you're in your room.

Hotel is a bit outdated. Although my room seemed cleaned, there was visible black mold on one of the ceiling and the ceiling fan needs to be cleaned, it was dusty. The cable on my TV was not setup, I asked one of the staff to fix it but he could not. I managed to set up only 2 channels. Although I am not on vacation to watch TV, I do like to have some background noise when I get myself ready.
