The heater in the dorm was extremely loud. No mosquito nets. Not a big central space to chill.

The walls and windows are paper thin so you hear everything: people talking outside, dogs barking on the street etc. lucky on request the staff moved me to a quieter room but something to be aware of as a light sleeper

Typical country noises—roosters, dogs, horses—could bother light sleepers. Earplugs are helpful.

If I HAD to choose something, I'd say the kitchen could be more well equipped with cutlery.

Really comfortable hostel in a great location, a short walk from the centre of Salento. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and have everything you need (lockers, curtains, lamps, plug sockets). The common spaces are also really nice and there's always somewhere to just chill out. It was easy to meet people here thanks to the activities, but also easy to get a good sleep as there's no loud music/bar - a perfect balance!

I really recommend this hostel ! The staff is the nicest i have ever seen in a hostel, especially Karen ! They are happy to help and have the best recommandations ! The beds are really comfy and there are hot showers ! They organize many activities where you can meet people if you are travelling solo : dinners to local restaurants, tejo, salsa. The view is also really beautiful. Couldn’t recommend this place enough !

The Internet was not that good. There is no proper space to work - in the common areas it’s not possible because the staff said I was making too much noise because it was super early in the morning, even though I was being pretty quiet. In the end, I had to interrupt my business call and move to the yard and finish it there. They charge for all the little things - pay by card, towel, lose a card to the room.

The location was good, ten minutes walking from the main square where you can get a jeep ride to Valle de Cócora. Could leave my luggage both before and after check in. Boots available for rent at 10.000 COP (but next to the valley entrance it’s 6.000 COP).

This is absolutely the best place to stay, so close to everything easily walkable to the center of town, but also perched on the hillside overlooking nature. The facilities were perfect. Location was terrific. Having free, coffee and tea and a beautiful chill out common space was very appreciated.

Due to the humidity the dorm smelt musty. Opening windows helped but of course that lets in the mosquitoes!

Bathroom floor was nasty every day. Commune kitchen was not really clean. Wifi was difficult

Nice location, absolutely charming and beautiful with nice birds coming on the property. Hot water and nice water pressure. Bed in dorm with nice privacy and you don't feel the other person in the bunkbed that much.

Need to invest in some new bunk beds, some of them are very creaky.

I highly recommend this hostel! The staff are so friendly and helpful, they serve a cheap breakfast each morning and you can arrange excursions from reception. It’s a short walk from the main square and transport. It’s also a great place to meet other travellers too with a great community vibe, this isn’t a party hostel at all. I recommend bringing earplugs, the doors are super heavy and you can hear them slam.

The kitchen was quite small and not really for cooking. Dorms were big but not arranged logically which made them feel much smaller.

Nice sociable hostel, easy to extend the stay on location and that was worth it. Many places to chill!

It could be cleaner, but it was fine compared to other places in colombia where the standards are not so high anyway. They should warn the people who stay in one of the dormitories that you need to get hot water by opening the cold water tub.

The atmosphere is great.. every person who works there is very friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the rooms as well. The garden is very nice and I loved the flowers that are there.

Had a great stay here. Really recommend. Lovely staff who are always happy and helpful. It is set in a beautiful building so you get that boutique feel. Lovely breakfast options and lots of info regarding what to do in and around Salento. Coffee farm tours, amazing hikes, downhill mountain bike tours, spas and thermals, give them a try! They have chilled evening get togethers if you want to meet other travellers. I would say this place is suitable for all people. Quiet time after 10pm and it's set on the edge of town with stunning views. This was my final stop of a 4 month trip and I can not think of a better accommodation. Highly recommend and once again thanks to ALL the AMAZING staff, well done.

The space, nature, view, it was a very beautiful and calming atmosphere. There are two big dogs welcoming tourists and you can have coffee, tea and water for free whenever you want. The staff are friendly and helpful. I had a really great time staying in a Coffee tree boutique hostel !
