If you don't like dogs I would not recommend as there are two large St Bernards but they are very chill and mostly ignore guests!

Spacious rooms with all necessary things kike kights, plugs and curtains, nice breakfast for 15,000 pesos, free water, tea and coffee, gorgeous huge garden with hammocks, giant swing, free really brilliant yoga classes, really friendly helpful staff, one of my favourite hostels in 3 months in South America, highly recommemded!

The beds could have been cleaned a bit better. There were hairs on them. There could be a few more options for breakfast. There could be a better variety of drinks at reception. For example, you could sell.

The staff were very helpful. It was a nice relaxed environment. It was easy to get to the central square.

The common space was nice and open, lots of different seating areas. There was nice views from the balconies and our room. The room was big and clean and had everything we needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful, particularly Carlos. Thanks for taking us out and teaching us tejo!

All you could wish for in a hostel/ hotel! The vibe is really social, laid back and welcoming. And a few dogs to top it off. What an amazing place you created! I was said to leave!

the dorms are old, smelly and not very comfortable, the lockers under the bed are quite cumbersome to open, the bathroom is dark and without windows, kitchen for guests (different from the one shown in the pics) is pretty worn out.

The staff is amazing and puts great effort in gathering the crowd for dinner, salsa and tejo each night. this is a great way to meet people. common area is great to chill and offers a nice view from the hill.

Everything. Lovely chillout area. Easy walk into main areas. Very safe to walk around on your own. Group dinner organised every evening. Lovely staff, nice rooms. Would stay again.

Great open concept hostel! The vibes here were very relaxed, Lobby was a good social area to connect with other travellers. I was really surprised by the cleanliness as most of the building is open (no windows in some areas) but I didn’t see a single bug :) would 100% recommend when staying in salento!

The only small issues we had were the no air con, and mosquitos. Without air con and the heat of this area we had to open the windows slightly at times and even with curtains covering the windows we woke up covered in bites which got infected. So we’d recommend a fan or AC installation at some point to avoid opening windows to bugs. Didn’t affect our stay hugely as we loved our time here and staff were amazing but thought it might be worthwhile as feedback.

This property had a great location, and extremely helpful staff. The room was lovely and spacious.

The dorm bed was not that comfortable, also the room could use some more cleaning. The design of the dorm, lockers and bathroom is just generally not well thought out. It would be nice to have some places to dry wet towels. Breakfast at 15K and packed lunch at 18k are kinda pricy for what it is.

The location and building itself are really nice, there are many plants and much greenery. When I needed something the staff always helped me out and was helpful.
