Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesDisappointing service, food, rooms. Breakfast was awful, and not replenished, hard to even get a cup for coffee. Went back and forth with staff on Whatsapp about restaurant reservations for a month and nobody could give me a straight answer on what restaurants were open. No water pressure to the point I could barely rinse my hair, we were stuck in some strange part of the building that didn't have the romance of the colonial rooms they advertised. They gave you cold Vienna sausages and peanuts as the mini bar snack options lol. Just not a fancy hotel in the slightest, when we wanted to be somewhere that felt a bit grand for Christmas. Cheap by American standard but expensive for Colombia, and not worth the price.

It was just a great romantic hotel, in the center of the historical town. We were lucky as we had a room with a street view. not all rooms have that, but even then I do think it fantastic hotel. can recommend it to anyone, as long as you realize that Bogota is a big city and that when your appointments are not nearby you will be in taxis a lot.

CanadaDon't expect a 5-star hotel. Not at all! Was it bad? No! Would I come back? Yes! But it is not to the level of 5-star hotel by any means, by any means. The only 5 or even 6-star aspect is the location. The rest -amenity, breakfast, staff, ....-is a 3-star hotel. Still good and acceptable but adjust your expectations!!!
The location! It was walking distance to all tourist attractions.

ColombiaThey stole my credit card form. When I checked in they swiped my credit card the old manual way for a guarantee for the room, they said that they would return it to me when I checked out. When I checked out, they lied and said they never did that, which they did, it was on camera, so I said "play the video" they refused. I got the police involved, the hotel then refused to play the camera to the police, this matter has not gone legal via the Prosecutor. The hotel has committed a very serious crime, whoever stole that form means they could steal an unlimited total, and considering they refused to play the video to me or the police, it indicates their guilt and indicates they could be doing this to many guests.

SwitzerlandThe hotel is completely inflexible regarding date changes, even though Booking.com let me pay extra for this flexibility. I had to pay for 2 nights that I did not use. Better communication between booking.com and the hotel is needed. Little to no sound isolation in the rooms, especially to the corridor. The old town Bogota is currently managed as a police state environment which is somewhat shocking if one is not prepared. The old town is on a military-enforced curfew at night. You cannot go outside or come home later without passing many checkpoints and wading your way through machine guns. This is restricted to the old town...if you do not want this, sleep in a different neighborhood.
The hotel was in a beautiful building with friendly staff and clean facilities. Breakfast was excellent. Location is in the center of the old town.
