3 stories w/ no elevator. Putting us on the 3rd floor—-with a bum knee and no assistance for luggage. Disappointing.

The hot tube was “under repair”, but that was not indicated when we booked. That was one reason that we booked this location. The handle on our room door did not work. The only way to close the door was to lock the deadbolt. The breakfasts were ok, nothing special. We accidentally left some clothes in the closet and it took many phone calls to get them sent to use. The website that we were referred to to return the clothes was very confusing!

The location was great. The grounds were nicely maintained.

Room 9! It needs a different layout and two chairs. The headboard leaned slightly over the bed and totally blocked the nice view of the pool. the other view was a roof.

It was a beautiful old mansion. We were surprised to find it had a pool. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We would stay again but would request a different room.

The carpeting needed a good cleaning throughout. It had a faint odor to it. Otherwise, we really liked the size and location of the inn. We found everything we wanted to do in town to be walkable. I would stay there again.

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like anything but more like suggestions. The breakfast could use a little more variety, maybe some sweet breads, muffins or pastries. We were bummed the hot tub was out of order but these things happen. Also, maybe have access to a microwave in case someone wants to heat up left overs.

The White House in was adorable! There are only a handful of rooms so it feels very private and intimate. The rooms are good size. They offer a breakfast daily and a wine hour from 5-6. The wine hour includes a charcuterie tray. The location was great, very close to downtown Napa. The parking lot felt very safe since it was in a residential area. They also had a table set up on each floor that you could get clean towels and toiletries so you didn’t need to wait or be bothered you could just help yourself which was great! The ham, cheese, and avocado breakfast sandwiches were yummy!

i didn’t like that the windows were covered with plastic, because of the painting of the house… i thought that maybe they should regulate it better, like close the house partially, not all of it at ones. otherwise, in my opinion, they should have close the hotel for renovation, coz it felt creepy to have windows covered in your room and doesn’t have any sunlight in it

While we understood property was historic, our room was quite small.

Fabulous, historic location for exploring Napa and its wineries. Walking distance to great restaurants, beautiful garden and wonderful breakfast. Wine tasting was also a plus.

They started renovations and the pooll/hot tub was closed and the windows were covered for painting all weekend. We were in a room on the third floor with pitched ceilings, which was a bit tricky for adults to avoid hitting our heads. It was charming though. We could have used more seating in that room and the single bed was an uncomfortable spring mattress on a platform. Probably for a child, but we are a group of friends there for a race and wanted to sleep well.

The location is beautiful, the grounds were pretty and inviting and it was a short walk to Napa downtown. The breakfast was really nice. The room was clean and kept warm.

Beautiful inn but backyard space not kept up in winter. Four Roto rooter trucks in parking lot when we pulled in but fortunately the damage was in the basement. Assigned 3rd floor room and we had lots of luggage and we were the oldest people staying in the inn. Our room and the other room for our guests had mold around underside of sink bowl edge. Our shower drained slowly and our bathroom door would not open from the inside once closed. She was locked in for 20 minutes. All repairs were completed but no offers for compensation for inconvenience.
