Drinks at the bar of the terrace were a bit on the higher price and don't expect much of the pool/hottub. It was fine for us though.

Room was very spacious and comfortable! Staff was friendly. Location perfect. Nice terrace on the top floor. Free walking tour was great, the guide (Elise) was so enthusiastic!

This hostel is the best I've ever had. The staff is super friendly and fun, there are a lot of activities you can attend and get to know other travelers. The dorm is spacious and clean. In the hostel they provide coffee for free all day, they have an air con cafe at the entrance, hammock on 2nd floor, kitchen on 3rd floor and pool &lounge area and rooftop bar on 4th floor. Will definitely go back on my next Cartagena travel.

Found some hairs in the bed. No window in the room. No drinking water available for guests, should be included for this price and would also align more with the so called sustainability goals of Los Patios (since everyone is now buying plastic water bottles). Staff was very welcoming, however when we requested a taxi for 4.30 am the reception guy said we could do so 5 minutes up front and the security guy would call for us. Later on in the evening I double checked with another lady at the front desk (who was laying with her feet on the desk), she said this was not possible at all. Did not seem very helpful.

Los Patios in Cartagena is super comfortable and a great place to meet new people! Easy to navigate to and from when walking around the city. Their AC'd rooms are killer and saver throughout the day and night. The staff was wonderful and very helpful with any issues!

The entire AC system in the hostel failed for the entire night. It was absolutely impossible to sleep at all, and in the morning they didn’t offer so much as an apology. The double rooms are absolutely tiny. I was alone so there was just enough room for me, but it would be impossible with two people and two sets of luggage. The bedding on the the duvet was two bed sheets, which was kinda gross as the duvet was visible and as they’re not washed it was very unhygienic with blood stains etc.

The location is great and it’s got plenty of communal spaces. The staff are excellent and it’s super clean.

Although we really liked that the hostel celebrates international women’s day, it would be even more great if they can fix the toilet doors so everyone can enjoy privacy and in that way feel safe while traveling ;-)

Perfect location!! This hostel is a really nice spot to connect with other travelers. The staff is super helpfull and friendly and very active and enthousiastic. They offer a free welcome drink, salsa class and game night and also celebrate special days like international women’s day. Although the pool is tiny, it’s nice to do siësta in there (or enjoy the stunning sunset with view over the city). There’s also a clean kitchen and plenty of space to relax. Dorms are small but clean and practical with good aircondition.

While the pool itself is a bit small, the rest of the facilities of the rooftop patio made up for it. Lots of loungers and chairs and even a rooftop bar. Our only complaint is that the private rooms are very small! It would be fine if you are traveling alone, but I was traveling with my cousin. We are very close and good travellers together, but the space is just very small. The only other thing is that there isn't a fan in the bathroom, so the tiny room gets pretty damp after a shower. It is crucual to keep the AC on "dry" instead of "cool" (it still will cool the room on this setting)

Los Patios is a great place to stay in Cartagena, especially if you are traveling alone and looking to meet some friends along the way. Everyone who worked at this hostel was unbelievable friendly and helpful - some of the best staff I've ever encountered at a hotel/hostel. Julie in particular was absolutely phenomenal and a wealth of knowledge about Cartagena and the surrounding area. There were a lot of travellers working remotely staying here (myself being one of them) and I can see why. The internet was super fast and there were so many places to sit and work in the communal areas. There is a shared kitchen with a large fridge for those staying for longer durations. The staff put on events every evening like salsa dancing or karaoke. The guests were some of the friendliest out of anywhere we stayed, but I think that is in part to the staff creating a great culture there. Would highly recommend!

The room I was in - at the end of the corridor downstairs - was next to some kind of machinery - it was pretty loud and annoying - waking me up at about 5am. If I hadn’t been a bit drunk on the first two nights - I’d have complained. But by the third night it felt too late to say anything. I’d recommend getting it sorted somehow.

I don’t think it’s worth the price you pay. It was the little things like the sheets had some small stains on them and at one point it was just me and another girl who were the ones consistently in the dorm and there was a bunch of stuff that people had left behind sitting around for days. I understand not to touch people’s stuff incase they are still there but who knows how long this stuff was sitting around. Same with all the left behind things in the shower. The fan by my bed didn’t work either but that wasn’t an issue because the aircon was good. Also some of the staff were a little rude and useless when asking for recommendations

Overall great hostel! Clean, good location. Very social! As a solo traveller I had no issues meeting people and even most of the staff were very involved when they would run events and include everyone. The pool was nice too after a day of exploring around the city. Lots of space to hang out around the hostel and the dorms were comfortable. Great location as well! Easy to walk everywhere and lots of food options super close to the hostel! I definitely would stay here again

A bit pricey for a 6-bed room.

The hostel is completely new and has a very nice interior design. The room is nice and has everything you need (including earplugs). The bed was comfortable. Staff was welcoming and smiley. There's a nice rooftop with a pool and a bar with a small dj set. The location is cool because it's in Getsemani, the vibrant heart of Cartagena.

The only thing that we can comment on is that our room did have a strong wet concrete/basement smell when you first walk in. But, you get used to it and could be expected in a historique building of Cartagena!

Great place, great location, friendly bar staff and front desk staff were super helpful! The hotel has many great shared areas to hang out in and was very clean.

There was construction noise during the day and from 10am there was music everywhere in the hostel, which is not ideal if you have work calls. It is also quite expensive, but for personally it was worth it.

I stayed at the hostel while working remotely and it offers great facilities to do so. There is plenty of space to work from and the wifi is fast. The location is great and all of the staff is amazing! They offer activities everyday, so it‘s easy to meet other travelers. The music from the rooftop stops early enough to get a good night sleep and there is no heavy bass, so earplugs can easily cancel the noise.

Shower didn’t get very hot but was warm enough. While the room was excellent, I think it’s still overpriced and not something we’d usually pay that much for. I think it’s a new hostel so they were possible still building some facilities (I think a cafe was going to be opened in the lobby).

We booked a king private room as a well needed treat after our previous accomodation. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Room was spacious with good air conditioning. Clean bathroom with a pretty shower and well stocked with toiletries. Great TV with Netflix. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice rooftop for drinks. Excellent location, walking distance to some very cool spot.

It is Morden hostel inside city The rooms are good you can find wonderful people from Colombia (staff) or internationals with different ages Normally I don’t like dormitories but I was sad when I left Because they told me there was a private room for me but I had already booked a flat 🥲 I suggest everyone come in this hostel even you don’t like dormitory like me you book it for 1-2 days in dormitory if they have not private room and after you decide what you want to do I am really fall in love that place
