From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and appreciated. A glass of cava with some gorgeous Italian men and the lobby filled with the most incredible art! Our room was on the Andy Warhol floor so the carpet was coke bottles and Marilyn Monroe graced the glass between our bathroom and our bedroom. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff and quiet and perfect location, just a few blocks from Gaudi houses and great restaurants.

I like to travel cheap and would have stayed in a simpler place if I'd been alone, but I did appreciate the value of having all of the extra services when traveling with friends.

The hotel is lovely, with the genuine artwork throughout. In our case, traveling with friends, having the nice bar and patio in the restaurant made it easy and comfortable to spend time together without needing to stay out late just to chat. It is also conveniently located close to transportation and nice bars and restaurants, and also 2 or Gaudi's famous houses.

Room small, furniture starts looking dated. View onto the lift shaft, highly recommend booking a room with view onto the street.

The soundproof is really bad, I can easily hear the conversations from next room or the conversations from the hallway.... If you get the chance to live in "basic" room, the window faces insider, no sunshine.

Great Location, we can easily go to any sightseeings on foot. Besides, there are many delicious brunch places.

The feel of the size of the room was surprisingly good compared to other hotels due to a nice room layout. The liquid soap, shampoo, hair conditioner and body lotion had one of the nicest smell. My wife loved it too. The room was also very clean. Top-notch. And the lobby was like an art museum - which it is actually. My wife and I spent time just admiring the artworks and taking photos of them. Lastly, the location is close to so many nice restaurant and bakeshop choices. We even found a bakeshop 2 blocks away which sold everything gluten-free.

Kinda expensive but this is Barcelona. It was pretty noisy facing the street, although I knew it would be like that so I brought earplugs and I had my white noise app and I slept fine. But you could hear every word of the party people below who hang out in the streets till 2am. Alternatively there is a nice courtyard view. Some maintenance was lacking, the carpets in the hallway were lumpy, there were loose cords in places, wobbly doorknobs, lots of places that needed painting, and the pool had a wobbly ladder & missing a piece of wood in one place. None of these things really bothered me that much though.

Loved the design of the hotel and all the art, there was even an art exhibition in the basement with pieces from a famous artist for sale. I liked the outdoor terrace and the rooftop pool that was a real bonus! Beautiful view, and no kids were there, except one day some annoying party people, otherwise it was kind of quiet (though it was September). The room was a decent size, I liked the view from the street, looked out on some trees too, and I could look out on all the action below (I like that). I liked the bathroom too, the fridge worked well. Staff was really friendly and even were up for chatting. The location was absolutely perfect. I was sad to leave and regretted not staying longer.

Restaurant not open for dinner. Wanted more traditional Spanish food on the bar menu, too American.

The art was great. Staff was delightful and helpful. Bar was very good, able to order food in the evening (limited menu). Close to taxi stop. Nice street with restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores near by. Great location off busy traffic streets.
