This is an amazing place. The hill top location overlooking the valley, river and hills is fabulous. Comfortable huts with a variety of styles, views and prices. We had a junior suite which was super, highly recommended. Other facilities available and good bar/restaurant. Cheap taxi ride or 20 minute walk into town. We only stayed three days but could easily have stopped a couple of weeks and just relaxed

Service was a bit slow in the restaurant when things were busy (but only a minor point!)

A wonderful resort hotel in a beautiful location overlooking the valley, but within each reach of the town. Chalet was very spacious & comfortable, and staff were very helpful in providing information and booking guides & tours (at very reasonable rates - payments were made direct to the tour provider). Food at the restaurant was very good - and again very reasonably priced. Overall excellent value for money!

The service in the restaurant was slow (but acceptable because the staff are so nice). A massage was decidedly harsh - left with bruises afterwards!

Wow, we had a spectacular view over the Magdalena gorge. Lovely room, good sized bed, good shower. We ate in and were very pleased with the food and the cocktails. Very happy with activities laid on we had a fantastic 4 hour guided horse ride around local archaeological sites. Never been on a horse and don’t speak much Spanish but we thoroughly enjoyed it and the guide conveyed the history and emotional significance of the sites fantastically. It was the highlight of our fortnight in Colombia. Worth walking into San Agustin too - it is a lively small town.

My only complaint would be the coffee at breakfast was not great.

The staff were incredible and very accommodating. We had to wait for our bus for a while after check out and they allowed us to stay in the restaurant lounge area. They also let us check in early and booked all our tours. The food was really good (the deditos de pollo was fresh and homemade and the brownie was to die for!) plus the natural lemonade was great. The rooms are super nice (splurge for the one with the Mountain View and balcony) and clean and the gardens are well kept. They have horses on property that you can rent for a tour which was really fun. Highly recommend this place!

Pleace is not walking distance of the town, or even a compfortable walk to the nearest restuarant.

Staff went out of their way to find me an English-speaking tour guide at the last minute. Thank you! (Tho, honestly, the signs at the Archeological Park are so good, you do not need a guide) Room was clean and comfortiable, with a lovely view. Buidling are in interesting hut shapes, working with the local environment. Main building was beautifully designed, with great views. Staff were all helpful. Resto was good.

They offered on the menu a chorizo santarrosano, I ordered and it and it was not the real deal, it was not very nice, it was a processed sausage. Also de music at the bar does not match the beauty of the site and spoils from my point of view the whole experience. I went to have a relaxing moment and did not like the very loud music in the dining area. If coming back might not eat at the restaurant/bar.

The location of the hotel is amazing, rooms are big and relaxing.

None of the 3 days they had hogao. Which is a basic for a Colombian place to have, also only one day they had tamales for breakfast, which is the speciality of the region so it’s a pitty you can’t easily get the tipical dishes in such hotel. Drinks take a bit long to arrive. Also for the price they should have a pool available or if it’s the jacuzzi it shouldn’t be for payment, it should be included like in hotels of this level

Smell of damp in bedroom, no mini bar in bedroom.

Incredible location, the grounds are wonderful, with amazing flowers and plants. The restaurant is also very good, best food we had during the trip in Cauca/Huila. Cocktails are also great. In the dining room there are a pool table and a ping pong table, there is also the use of a hot tub for 150,000 cop and they can also set up a fire pit for free if you let them know in advance.

The food in the restaurant got boring after a few days, and of variable quality. The food wasn't good value for money when compared to other options in and around San Agustin.

Views were amazing in the more expensive rooms. The reception staff were particularly kind and helpful.

Always very happy to return here. The rooms are nicely made, very clean and comfortable. The location is breathtaking, with its spectacular views across the Magdalena river and cannon. The restaurant on side has many tasty options. The staff is very friendly. Amazing place to stay, relax or catch the inspiration:-)

Breakfast and view were great. Even though I can't speak much English, Lorena and Gabby were extremely helpful and could also speak pretty good English to bat! Yeah! Great Location, very hilly short walk to San Agustin Centro. Best to have a car.

The location of the hostal is just amazing. We chose a room with a view on the mountains, and the view and environment is incredible. The room was very clean and the bed super comfy. The breakfast, included in our booking, was delicious too! And the personal of the hotel were very nice. I would definitely recommend!
