The room and bathroom were very dark even with lights on and curtains open. The water often came out of the tap brown (but this might be a problem in all of Palomino and not just the hotel). We didn’t get fresh towels each day and our towels were filthy because the town is full of dust. Also the streets around the hostel aren’t well lit at night although it seemed safe enough.

We liked that the location was a bit far from the Main Street and therefore a bit quieter. The pool was nice and the breakfast was decent. The staff were all really lovely. We also liked having a fridge in our room to keep water cold etc.

When its dark, theres not much street lights. It feels safe but can be a be scary at first.

Lovely atmosphere, easy to meet people around the pool and at breakfast which is delicious. They staff is friendly and helpful. Its a short walk into town and a quiet area.

Short walk to the main streets of Palomino. Staff were really helpful, friendly and accommodating with check in & leaving baggage there after check out. Rooms were quite small but air con was powerful.

Beautiful little bungalows just a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of the streets of Palomino. Nice pool and restaurant on site with great breakfasts. The staff were kind and friendly and a special thank you to Brayan who helped us organise trips and our transfer to Cartagena.

Nice pool area, set back 10 minute walk from the beach. Recommend the rooms with AC as set back from the beach there is no sea breeze so very warm!

The staff are so friendly and helpful! The cabana is traditional and comfortable. The location is far enough from town so you don't hear all the loud music. The pool is very clean. If you want a good deal for your money, stay here!

The aircon wasn’t working and we received a cooling fan that blowed our minds and was too powerful and noisy to use it in that small room

Nice spot to hang around the pool. All the rooms are right next to it. It’s a quieter, which fitted us perfectly. Breakfast was very good, as well as the dinner options. The cook was a bit short, and the kitchen closed ahead of the time that we were told about.

There were mouse droppings when we checked into our room which likely means the cleaning standard isn't the best. Since it's a bit off the main area, have a flashlight with you to get back at night.

The pool here is wonderful and the location is just a quick few minutes off the main stretch and beach. We appreciated how quiet the location was and the fan in the room helped with the heat. The area felt safe and the staff were mostly friendly.

Best place Ive stayed in Palomino Great staff, awesome breakfast. Accommodation was fantastic, large rooms with desk and lots of storage spaces. Very clean. Nice quiet air conditioning was very welcome. Fast WiFi all day It's close to the beach but on the outskirts without illumination, Fantastic dark skies to stargaze
