It is absolutely impossible to find a better location for exploring the centre of Sofia. Also for us, as a family with a small kid, was very important that there was a lift - most old buildings there do not have one. Nice amenities, comfortable. WiFi fast.

There were some small things that we did not like (f.e. lack of tablets for the dishwasher) , but they were not so important.

The hotel has an infinity outdoor pool overlooking the city with hot mineral water. There are a few smaller pools with hotter water. The spa area has all the necessary facilities. The restaurant is good and offers a wide variety of food.

Excellent all round service, can’t fault in anyway. Location is great for a bit of retail therapy, lots of bars and restaurants to choose from, this was my 6th stay. Can’t recommend enough.

Was very disappointed. The place looked quite run down and stank of cigarettes. Also wasnt clean...found bag with popcorn, cigarette buds, dirty cotton tips and lots of dust under beds, no curtains in 1 bedroom, taped up balcony door, another bag from popcorn under sofa, loose toilet seat in stinky bathroom.... Contacted host (robot) and they sent cleaner to fix it...she was out in 10 min...didnt fix much. Was also demanding kitchen towels but got another dish washing detergent 🥺

My experience could have been vastly improved if the customer service had been more attentive during my stay. A few timely replies and personalized messages would have made a significant difference, rather than the impersonal automated responses I received. Unfortunately, when faced with serious issues, it seemed I couldn't rely on the host for assistance. Effective communication is crucial in the hospitality industry, and it's disappointing that this aspect was lacking in my experience. While the host was diligent in reminding me of check-out procedures and house rules, they were unresponsive when I raised concerns about two key issues in the apartment: the absence of an iron and a missing light in the bathroom. Instead of addressing these concerns, the host remained silent. To compound matters, when someone was sent to inspect the bathroom light without notice, it was at an inconvenient time, leaving me unprepared. Furthermore, the issue was not resolved, as the inspector merely confirmed the problem without fixing it. A simple message or apology from the host could have eased the situation, but none was forthcoming.
