Positive section of review
It was quiet and clean and the apartments were spacious and well kept. The pool is small but really nice. We traveled as a family with three kids and our apartment was a perfect size for all of us to relax in the afternoons when it was very hot in the sun. There is a super market about a 4 minute walk and it is well stocked with food and beverages to grab supplies.

We didn't have a car or rent a golf cart while we were visiting Tamarindo so it was a bit far to walk to the beach with young kids.

It’s a few minutes drive from the airport (3 dollars by Uber) located in a pleasant district with restaurants. Very good communication with the host, we came earlier and could leave our bags in. Breakfast is in the fridge, eggs, fruit, there is coffee, tea and toasts, you prepare it yourself which worked for us. A very nice communal area, we would stay there again.

Central. Very clean. The double room was spacious and the bed very large and comfortable. Shower had good pressure and hot water. Everything worked! Warm greeting on arrival and friendly helpful staff. The tours I had booked via front desk were great value and an excellent tour company Jungle Tours. Great base for a couple of nights. Very peaceful in the mornings.

Very noisy between 6pm-11pm. Am aware its a hostel with party vibes (and I work in the event/club industry so not a stranger to noise) but the volume was insanely loud with high tempo dance music, and its not a great sound system so really blares out and people in the pool then have to shout over the volume, so it is difficult to relax in the room and get to sleep after a long day out. Probably great fun if you are 20 and drunk, just be aware if travelling with kids or wanting any evening rest. Maybe i should have thought to ask the front desk for earplugs though.

Excellent location on the beach and close to bars, restaurants and shops. My room had a view directly out to the beach and I enjoyed having the bedroom upstairs and a living area downstairs.

The sister hotel had a lovely pool which you could use for free. There were a couple of restaurants and supermarket down the stairway towards football ground.

Is slightly outside of main town and very hilly, not a problem for us but if you had mobility problems, may be a concern.

The location on the main road was convenient, they provided information about tours and organised transport services. The hammocks were nice.

The music around the bar and pool area was loud and not exactly relaxing. My private room was fine but things in the bathroom were a bit clunky. I had to ask for towels and for a couple of things to be fixed a couple of times.
