The property seemed to be as much art gallery and library as hotel, with unique furnishings and books throughout. The king room with garden view was spacious, as was the en-suite bath & shower room. Very comfortable and clean. The huge windows made the room light and airy, especially on the warm afternoon with the windows open onto the garden. It's a pleasant 15 minute walk into town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. In the morning, a tasty and substantial breakfast was provided.

Stayed previously pre covid when a group of us biked to Paris via Dieppe and had an amazing stay. Planned another similar bike trip (avoided Paris this time) and without hesitation booked a night here. Even better than I remembered - host is amazing, rooms are top notch and an amazing organic breakfast as well.

Extra costs for heating as initial price isn’t cheap. So feel it was an expensive stay. Nephew is 6ft 3 and bed only 6ft, therefore he found it uncomfortable. But no complaints about the comfort of the bed. Only my 6ft 3 nephew!

The place is psycho cramped. Everything is cleaned but heavy with strong cleaners and bleach, had to heavy air out the room upon arrival. Could barely breath. There is only enough room to walk in and out of the room. And there are a lot of people staying in the other rooms. It felt like staying in a tiny over cramped hostel. Bed is comfortable. We didn't even touch the sofa and the owners tried to charge us 100€ for sofa damage when it's in perfect condition. Clearly just another place making money from charging tourists for false claims. Not horrible, not great either.
